5.0’s been back together for a bit, runnin strong for an engine with 240k miles. Still chasing problems with the tensioner pulley(#3) wobbling and squeaking.. but can anyone tell me why my camber changes with the steering? Beam pivots loose? Alignment cams are tight and have never budged since I replaced em.

Figured it out.. somehow I missed the slightly loose beam pivot brackets on BOTH sides. How TF did that happen..?? Glad I caught it before it let loose at speed

I think I may have FINALLY figured out what keeps killing belt tensioners on this truck.. the alternator is not spaced out far enough, before I rip this thing out though has anyone else dealt with this in their 5.0? I’m hoping I just need a small 1/8” spacer and the bracket itself isn’t screwed up. What’s my best course of action? Grind down a universal spacer? Washers? Have one machined?

Stockpiling more parts to get this thing back on the road/dirt! (im)patiently waiting on some tubular radius arms from Threat, scored some 35” KO2’s from Kris, got a set of beam drop brackets from Bronco Graveyard, and have started cleaning up a random set of 4” coils and drop pitman arm that I’ve been hoarding for a couple years.

So with that being said, I’ll be pulling the Desolate Stage 1 Bilstein 5100s and 2” coils off and putting them on the market if anyone’s interested.
