Hollander's TTB F-150
Well I guess its time now that I have the truck home to share it. It has had a great deal of work done by my old boss in the fab days Kurt Schuetenhelm owner of PRD formerly Race Designs when I worked for him. This truck went up for sale a month ago and I swooped it up. The cage is probably one of the tightest tucked cages I have ever seen the de-skinned the inside of the cab to tuck it. So here is where it is and where it should go providing time and funding. It is 3" over per a side j beams, all body mounts were removed and cab is welded to cage and cage is welded to frame. It is very rigid to drive. Currently has nationals in the rear we will be linking, adding a full floater, fuel cell, and finishing it up. The plan is to take both the Bronco and the f-150 to Norra for my Bachelor party next year with a ton of friends 6 seats are better than 3 lol.

Yes Kurt is a very talented fabricator with a great vision. I definitely learned a ton while working for him. Yes it should be a good project or another money pit lol.damon1272 wrote:Holy crap haven't heard Kurts name in a while. Talented fabricator. Looks like a fun project.

Re: Hollander's TTB F-150
Once again Solo came through while I was asking questions about trailing arms Bobby said hey I have some in stock we just burned up mounts and links I will send down with the driver if you want them. So now I have links and housing for the f-150. The plan is to go to the swap meet and buy some more parts if the deals are right. I would like to use this truck for the 1000 this year. Don't mind the 4wd a-arm kit that's solo's 19" travel kit for a Tacoma for a friend of mine. Here's some part I need if anyone has some sitting. 16" bypasses, 14" coil over, fuel cell, grey dash parts, solid rear back window, Nodular diff case, autofab bedsides, hood, and a intake system

Damn. I had my eye on this thing when it was on Craigslist. Was a steal for what's been done already.

Btw, glad it went to a good home. I'm envious of your stable of Fords.

Re: Hollander's TTB F-150
Well yesterday I started making my list of parts and companies to talk to on the build. I felt like the front shock bodies looked long so we pulled out the pettibone to measure shafts. They put 16s on it and bumped travel with 4" to frame so that is added to the list replace with 14". Right now I am debating back halving and shortening wheelbase or leaving frame with a notch to make class 8 legal for Score and Norra. The body guy is supposed to cut the roof off soon so we can finish the top of the cage. We also fitted the 3rd seat yesterday to make sure an adult will fit. I think we are going to put the Mastercraft 3gs in it out of the race truck.

Does anybody have some 3" Auto fab front fenders? These are their 4.5 or 5" I was told. I will be selling these soon as I find a set.

Yes I am keeping. Just slowly build it and hopefully race the baja 1k next year with it.
