I have no idea what brand they are. To be honest I never looked because I was not planning on keeping them.

Finally got some parts rounded up. Waiting for the 3.5" bypasses up front but got my knuckles, with all the big brake stuff, steering ram, box, pump ect. and Desolate Motorsports dual swinger steering so we will start wrapping up the front end while we wait for shocks.

Shocks have been bought and remainder have been ordered. Opted for 3.5" x 14" front bypasses paired with 2.5" x 12" coil overs and 2.0 bumps up front which I have in hand already and I ordered 4.4 x 16" rear bypasses, 2.5" x 14" rear coil overs, and 2.5" rear bumpstops. Now I literally only have to buy seats, fuel cell, Fiberglass and then we can start thrashing big time. I also have my 4" currie full floater that should be done this week. I am starting to get excited about this build now.

Well after looking and packaging shocks we decided to start chopping parts of the engine cage out. We also ditched the AC stuff. After talking with some buddies I think we are going LS in this truck cheap simple power. I am totally against putting chevys in fords but I have built t400s sitting, access to low mile less than 1500 mi LS3s for super cheap so it hard to say no lol. So the low mile only 98k on odo 351w and the e4od will be for sale. Its a good runner with great power. The trans seems to have a reverse pattern so P, R, N, 1, 2, 3, OD and shifts great. Waiting to hear from previous owner what is done to the trans.

Sweet thanks for you input. Ya I would not want to waste anymore of your time lol. After all it currently still has a ford and I am tossing around several power plant options and after this past weekend a 427 may be in order you just never know with a person like myself. Maybe it will get the 408 that is sitting in my bronco and the bronco will get a ls or a 427 you never know hell I don't even know lol. But at the end of the day here is what plays into my decisions 1st what kind of lead time? 2nd cost? 3rd can I buy parts anywhere especially in Mexico? 4th does it fit? 5th will it give me the power I want and need? 6th is it reliable on pump gas? 7th will AussieRod follow my build thread? If all of those line up then it must be a perfect power plant for my build. LMFAO.

On a serious note I do these threads to showcase some of our products, as well as the work and products of our friends and businesses that help us build our vehicles. I would like to think that some of my threads and post have helped guys with questions and even drummed up some business for companies and friends that have helped. I know I get contacted on a daily basis for questions regarding why I did this or that or can you help with this or that. I know LS power plants strike nerves with some people and trust me as mentioned above I am not a fan when people do motor swaps. But as mentioned I can pick up a LS3 today in town for cheap. It will take me 5-6 months minimum to build I small block ford with equal power if I have all parts on order today. And the cost will be 5x what I would pay for a stock LS3 with standalone engine management and all. I like to get projects done and not spend a year or 5 on them so that is why its an option for me. This is just some of the Pros and Cons that I have looked at. Hopefully I don't ruffle any feathers its all in good fun.

i could have swapped a 5.3 into my bronco for less than it will cost me to MAF swap it and build it to make 300 hp, in retrospect, I wish i would have done that. just my .02

It;s nothing to do with your product or skills, Brandon. Don't read anything into my comment that isn't there, mate. It is your truck, and your choice, my input means nothing in the long run. Do as you wish. You don't have to be a dick for no reason.

I like your posts Brandon, especially since Ramsey isn't posting anymore :-(
Now for the motor. I talked to Glen about a motor and he got the newer Boss block 427 and one thing he thought was a big advantage of the block was stronger along with the ability to bore it out to a 460ci with it still being a strong motor as far as cylinder wall thickness. That would be cool to have a lightweight, small block 460ci motor. When it needs a rebuild, Glen said that might be a possible upgrade. So far the motor in the Bronco seems to be doing well. The other block that has a proven track record is the Dart Block. Being a small block ford is common to find parts, as would 383 stroker chevy. A stand alone fuel injection system would give you an easy to tune and more reliable over time setup. I have seen a couple guys use the FI-TECH on NORRA trucks the worked great last year. I am considering it for my motor once I do a change of address to El Centro.

Ya I miss that guy. I am getting the RZR ready for Sykes and now Steinberger is codriving and really been bummed cause last year Ramsey was involved. The race the Sonora rally next week in it. I am still stoked that Ramsey and Dave got the Overall last year in it.

I am actually putting FiTech on my Bronco because of (ford) Josh's advice and some communication with their tech team. As far as the 427 stuff I like Glen and Chris's set up. It seems very reliable except that first ussue they had but ford replaced motor if I remember correctly. I have someone I do business with that has a coast low compression 427 he says dyno showed 550hp and tq around there that I can buy for cheap so that will probably be my path if he can find all of his documents for that motor. So I have not gone to the dark side yet.

Also for anyone reading that does not know me personally I am just a big smart ass. So please do not take any offense to my posts. Sometimes I forget it is hard to read sense of humor and emotion through text.
