This is what we've been working on for the past year. 300, C6 (converted from 2wd), 208, 9" and D44 TTB.

That is really cool. I had a 1981 F100 as my first Fullsize pickup.

Thanks for the inspiration! Mine will be a stepside but I'm planning on using a 95 cab and drive train.

Makes me miss my old step side pre runner. Nice work. Did you come up with the steering system?

I did. Been thinking about that design for years. And it didn't work. I've already modified that set up. It's kinda ugly, but fixed the drag link rotation.
I also modified the beams by relocating the lower and upper ball joint tabs to accommodate the 2" lift coils. But... The upper ball joint nut hits the coil. So I'll have to rethink that as well. We made our own extended radius arms using the original mounting brackets mounted back by the transmission cross member. Also still have to make changes to the shock mounting.

good lookin truck. That's what we're goin for. Mild build, 33's and just a leveling lift up front. Durable drive train and capable to go most places without too much effort. Not that there's much out here in east Texas. Not a big fan of the mud. I'd like to drive it with the kid out to Arizona when we get it done. Closest thing we have to whoops out here is RR crossings.
But... I definitely want to keep the suspension functional. His truck is the test platform for my bronco.

Looking really good! Love all the work in it.

What did you guys end up lining the inside & underside of the cab with? I need to do that to my crew cab one of these years.

Thanks. We used Xtreme Liners. They're local, but I'm sure any of the off the shelf liners will do. Didn't use the ground up rubber that came with the kit, so the finish is bumpy without the grip tape texture.

You wouldn't happen to have the measurements for those rear blocks you made for the bed-to-frame would you?

Front to back from the # 2 spot...
2 1/2", 2" and I think 2 1/2" under the rear channel.

Sorry for the delay. Just saw your request.

Since the flooding finally stopped, I got a chance to start roughing in the rear bumper. I post a couple pics in a moment.

Not much. Been distracted by work, life and low motivation. We set up a makeshift paint booth in the garage to start painting.
So far we've discovered our weaknesses in paint application and are now perfecting sanding smooth poorly applied paint.
Hoping to have everything painted by the end of the month.

Mine is slowly coming a long too but much farther behind than you are.
