Ok. Took off 1" from the rear bushings and 1/4" off the front. Replaced the fenders and hood. Everything lines up dang near perfectly. The body panels, however, are giving me some grief. But I think as we fine tune the fasteners and experiment with shims, we'll get it dialed in.

A little more progress.
Repainted, supposedly by a professional. There's some stupid shit he didn't do very well. But it does look better.
Got the doors assemble (mostly) and back glass in. All new seals. Which brings up a question... How long before I don't have to violently slam the doors to get them to fully latch?

Replace the door jam pins, cheap and fairly easy to do. I was having an issue with mine, replaced all 4 pins and new strikers and almost new again. Also good idea to do the rubber. Pins and strikers you can get from your local auto parts (Mine was NAPA)on the shelf stuff and the rubber I got from Jeff's Broncos. looking good btw!

Yes, it's been able to move under its own power for a while. But not really street able yet. Still need to rethink and fix some issues with my steering and a handful of other things.

Cactus, we put in all new rubber seals. Hoping after a little break in time the rubber will find its new shape.
And thanks.

Got the console fab'd up. Shifter hooked up and transfer case shifter modified. Overall, satisfied. Hoped for a little better fit/finish, but considering my available tools and lack of skill.... Well, yah.

Got the bed in. Pretty happy with it.
Remounted the gas tank and gas tank cage/skid. 3/16" aluminum don't bend easy.
Had to get creative to shape it. We'll drill, tap and secure tomorrow.

Thanks, we just used cheap pine. The wife and kid stained and varnished the cut planks over a couple days to get a few layers built up.

Try to get some shitty fenders or hood from whatever for a touch of practice before tackling the job
