"Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
Picked up a 71 for the cab. Came with lots of goodies I can sell or use.
While I was in Phoenix I stopped by SDHQ and purchased a bunch of stuff for the rebuild. Mainly a 14 bolt shave kit made by Ballistic Fab and a cool latch for my center console.
The floor in this truck is amazing, not even surface rust. There is a minor dent in the cowl and roof corner but those will be easy to repair.
Going to get the cab off and try and find a shop to cage it for me. With how hot it is here I don't want to do it myself. I may have the underside of the floor and back of cab rhino lined to try and keep the inside of the cab quiet.
Got lucky and this one has poly body mounts on it so I can measure them to have aluminum pucks made.

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
Funny how when you need to get rid of a cab no one wants one & when you need one no one has one. I have scrapped the last 3 standard cab dentside cabs I've had as I couldn't give them away pretty much. Last bumpside cab I had went to Jody Mason after a bit of convincing as he didn't really need one, but I couldn't get rid of it & was going to cut it up.
Keep your feelers out & one will land for you. My '71 I got for $350 as the front end was destroyed in a crash. Motor & everything else seemed fine, cab was good, etc. A deal like that would be great for you.

That'll teach me not to refresh before hitting send. Good score.
Keep/note the dimensions on the body pucks. I'd love to know.
And I was just going to suggest having someone on the old ford prerunners FB page measure theirs if you hadn't found anything. I just took the measurements off the stock ones on the supercab when I did mine. The stock rubber ones grew roughly 1/2" when I took the weight of the cab off them. I was glad I measure before as I wanted the body as low as possible.

I scrapped the cab that came with the last 71 I got... funny how that works. This truck came this built beams, radius arms, Autofab trans mount, Autofab engine mounts, a bunch of Alcoa wheels, BFG Bajas, and a ton of other parts. Extra set of doors too.
There might be more... I haven't unloaded all of it yet.

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
Small update. I ordered fiberglass from Autofab, Glassworks Unlimited (after being warned by many), and Unlimited Products.
Autofab is already done with my bedsides and they are ready to pickup (In under two weeks), Unlimited Products should be done in another two weeks, and Glassworks has no idea I even ordered them.
So, should anyone have the flaired-fenders/Glassworks 5 piece kit they wish to sell please contact me. I don't have much faith in them.

Let me know if I can help in any way with your glass at Glassworks. They're like 5-10 min. from me. Having done business with Tim in the past and having heard multiple stories about the same type BS I dealt with I don't know that I'd go through him again. BUT, if they're the only one making the glass you want, then what can you do???
I'd suggest repeat reminder phone calls to Tim & the crew at slacker-works. Maybe one time your request will stick, although part of the problem there is enough cash on hand to make your parts to then sell to you. I have direct word from Tim's materials supplier that they are COD only when sending out supplies due to him not being able to pay the bills multiple times. Rob Peter to pay Paul or ponsi scheme type crap seems to go on there.

Picked up some goodies from Autofab the other day:
Mirrors
Autofab 5" Bedsides. Looks like I can reuse most of the old mounts too... so fitting them will be easy. Ignore the little tires, those belong on one of my other F100s.... I'm just using them as rollers as I sold the Robby Gordon wheels.
I also picked up another cab for $100 of CL, the rain gutter has a little rust but the floor is great. I figured it would be a good idea to have if I need to steal any panels from it.
I hope to get some friends over soon and pull the old cab and front clip from Gumby. I really wish I had a forklift at my house....

With how much stuff you have I'm surprised you don't already have a forklift at your house... Pneumatic tire version would be rad around there.
Oh and the gold wheels look rad on Gumby.

Those go on my 74 F100. The Methods for Gumby are getting powder coated the same color though... just call me Kibbe.

Picked up some goodies at the Leduc swap meet last weekend for Gumby. Soon the temperature will be down and my shop will slow down enough I can actually get some work done...
The few times I used the truck I found that it was so loud in the cab at 60 mph that I couldn't hear the other person in the cab, the radio, or much of anything else. The sound deadening helped but this will be a much better solution:
PCI's top of the line intercom package. This intercom has DSP, Bluetooth, the iPhone/iPod interface cable, and the necessary cable to plug into my Vertex Standard radio.
Hopefully I'll be able to hear Dan200 tell me not to roll now.

I finally got a clean steel grill thanks to Ryan Piggott, Dan200, and SDHQ. Ryan sold me the grill he had been hanging onto for years and then Dan200 and SDHQ were able to transport it to Parker and give to me a few days ago.
I plan on finding some matching steel headlight doors and then having it powder coated by Allcoat in Kingman.

Haven't updated in a while. Did a little work disassembling Gumby 1.0. I threw Gumby 2.0 together and dropped it off at McQueen so they can start on their Bumpside glass.

Sweet! Can't wait to see what McQueen comes up with or these. Love their dentside glass.
Random side note...
Is the one door on Gumby bad enough to do this to?? Got any other spare doors that are trashed enough to be cut up? I've got these 2 coming but need 4 total
Oh, and I'm open to '73(??) - '93 E series handles instead if you got a line on 4 of those doors.

The driver door wasn't damaged. Only the passenger.
I think I have a couple of doors that are damaged/rusty tho. I know I have at least one good pair of extra doors.
Are you putting bump door handles on your dent?
Be aware there are slight differences on 67 vs 68-72 doors.

About were asking about doorhandles- my friend has a 78 Bronco and those lift up doorhandles on a truck with about 2 inches of lift on 35's-not to sound like a pussy but is really ergonomically challenging on your wrist. Sounds kind of pathetic I know but the pushbutton is vastly easier if you ask me.

Re: "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
Thanks on the heads up on dent door differences!
And yes, I am adding push button door handles on the crew. I have lots of handles here from 80-96 broncos but I'm picky & didn't want the plastic push button. I was kind of hoping for van ones as I like the semi rectangular button, but amazingly I was able to come up with bump side ones before E series stuff..
Here's a crew that was done with the E series stuff. I love it.

Steve. It looks like I have a damaged 69 F100 driver door and a damaged 67 passenger door, in addition to a stack of good doors.
