Freshened up another leaf pack I wanted to try out on it. 4" lift spring and I removed a leaf hoping it won't ride like its on bricks. The bed, I bet, is going to be a lot lighter than the regular style sides. Wood floor and fiberglass bedsides.
Also getting the new trans crossmember ready for the 5.8 e4od combo that's going in.

Got the trans cross member in. Had to drill some new holes because the C6 was a lot shorter and the cross member sat a good 8" forward.
Also drew up some longer shackles I'm going to cut out and weld up tomorrow. These are 2" longer than stock.
I like drawing up parts haha.

Some Corbeau seats with sliders/brackets and a sweet center console that's also a flip up seat. Crazy score on these.

Niceee. Can't wait to see it all out together! Is that a stock leaf pack you cleaned up?

It was for a spring for a 6" lift. Took some leaves out and longer shackles and hopefully it will be around 3-4" to match the front

are you keeping the brick nose front, or going to the newest body style?

Brick nose! Of course. I like the look and the fenders match the rear bedsides.

Sweet! Now to get it all plumbed in with fuel lines and brakes. Front is almost done. Hopefully will be going together this week or next.

I swear there's and engine under all those hoses and wires.

Wow, found one on Craigslist with the color scheme I have been eyeballing.
I am probably going with a blacker black on the front and tube bumpers. I'm still deciding between polished wheels or black wheels with 35" tires.

A little painting today
The engine looks so terrible I had to do something.
Anyone know what I can do to spruce up the exhaust manifolds? Also anyone know the best way to clean up the cast aluminum parts like the throttle body?

It's like polishing a turd.
Note: don't clear coat over the hammered finish rustoleum paint unless you want a crinkle finish.... Which I did not.

The cab is a mess still. Seat not bolted in yet. Corbeau seats on sliders. The sliders are mounted on a corbeau bench bracket. The center console is also a flip up seat.

A little update.
15x10 wheels for a crazy good deal. $100 off over retail per wheel brand new. Can't beat that.
I'm hoping I can find a good deal on some 35" bfg KO2s to wrap these puppies.
