I'm new here on GFB and would like to share my 1996 F250 build. So far truck has custom 4.5" over beams, King coilovers, custom built front bumper with valance...and a bunch of other stuff I will post. Planning on cutting the back off, shortening the wheelbase, and doing a nice tune back half. Stay tuned!

Strapped at 19". Trying to figure out new shock position to get more up travel and less droop. I can move the shock up and make bump 1/4" from frame(which will.get me about 3" more up). Running a 2.5"x12" coilover. Should I go to 14s???

Nick...
I don't want droop! Haha. More uptravel the better. Which is what I'm working on. 60%up 40%down.

Got these for the rear until I can get my bypasses! Need to sell a bunch of stuff off my truck! Truck bed, tailgate, rear bumper, both fuel tanks, tow hitch...etc. I will post everything in the for sell section.

I have always loved the F250 as a Prerunner because right off the bat you have a Big Block 460, Full Floater rear axle, heavy duty drive train component's and heavier duty knuckles. A short bed extended cab setup as a 3 seater fully caged with a 44/50 hybrid long travel front end and 4 linked in the rear is a future project I would like to do.
Keep us posted!!!!!!

Re: 1996 F250 Prerunner Project
Definitely Wrightracing! I'm building it in stages... This first stage is going to be leaf sprung with 16" bypasses but with a committed bed cage and fiberglass bedsides...plus shortening 12-16". Running 2" mains to tie the cage in one day to keep it race legal. Already have 4.5 over beams...just need to get more up travel out of them. Second stage one day will be Cage, 4-Link, and egual length Beams.

Picked up the final price of the puzzle today. Some Trailer Products bedsides! If my truck bed sells tomorrow my truck is going under the knife this weekend!

Re: 1996 F250 Prerunner Project
Time to finally update everyone on my F250 Prerunner build. The truck is done and has been driving for a while. Just havent had time to post.
24" taken out. Went from 155" wheelbase to 131". Frame welded back together and plated with 3/16"plate and Rosette welded in spots for extra strength. I also took the time to fill in all of the unused factory holes in the frame and sanded down. Way cleaner!- Attachments
