Rubs a little on the radius arm when I'm a full lock, but besides that it's all good.

Well... It was an unsuccessful night trying to replace the broken fuel pump. Plans now is to upgrade from a 16 gallon tank to the 38 gallon tank, different sending unit, and pump. Going to try and do the same as Nubreed71. Hope it works haha

Or if anyone else has any suggestions please let me know. Maybe a bronco tank and fuel pump, sending unit, and float...

Here's a pic of a bronco tank mounted up. It's simpler in that you can just get a complete bronco fuel pump/sending unit, but it does hang down a lil bit lower, and also requires that you fabricate a new crossmember to hang the tank. You can see the angle iron crossmember at the rear of the tank in this pic.

I'd say it's 50/50. Bronco tank is 33 gal. & requires a bit of fab. Not tough, but a little work. 38 gal tank is bolt in, but requires different or extended sender.

The issue with the spray on clear is it won't last long. Clear powdercoat won't be a ton better without cleaning the beams 1st and most shops want the parts sandblasted to give them some tooth anyways. Sandblasting makes the awesome color rings go away. So yeah, you'll never really get to keep these parts looking as unreal as they d when Cho hands um over. I looked at this a bit a while back trying to figure out how to make awesome TIGed parts keep their sexy blue & purple rings.

You can always be a stud/baller & electroless nickel the suckers. You lose the color but not near the weld bead definition like you do with powder.

Sold the camper shell that came with the truck originally. Found out it was to a f250. Made almost $400. Scored this shell for $40 and its bitchin. While I was taking the original gas tank out I found this little guy that has been here for quite a bit.
