During the holiday break I went down to Chula Vista and bought a 1992 F-150 Custom Single Cab, Short Bed, 4x4 with a 5.8 v8. The plans are to do some stock width cut and turned beams with 14" c/o and bumps in the front and under the bed shock tower with some 12" shocks in the rear.

Thank you. I want to build as stockish looking as possible since it is my new daily driver for now.

Also did a sweet side exit exhaust before the rear passenger tire. No muffler also. It's not as loud as I thought it would be without a muffler.

That's what I did. The 2 cats keep it pretty quiet. Opened the cat exit to 3" and definitely unchoked it. I'm not one to bullshit, it was actually pretty noticeable.

I had that same set up for about 10 hours and had to ditch it. Just tooooo loud for me. It sounds like a sweet plan youve got lined up for the rest of it, I too like the standard cabs

Edit: I only had the 1 high flow Bassani cat maybe that made the sound difference...

The f150 I just bought has the exhaust chopped off right where the muffler should be, so a couple of feet of pipe outside the stock cats. It's not loud at all, surprisingly. I have a Black Widow to put on it anyway. I like your side exit though, I might be doing mine that way as well.
Sweet wheel and tire combo. I like the way it sits on 33's. This truck should be a lot of fun.

Yeah i have the two stock cats and no muffler and it sounds clean, not loud. I love the wheel tire combo so thank you
It will be a lot more fun once i have the suspension done on it. Hopefully i don't go too crazy on it like my bronco haha

I have the KO2's on my van, and love them. Great choice.
I first thought I would put 35's on my truck, but I really want to keep things simple. The 33's fill the stock wheel openings nicely without the headaches that bigger tires bring. Finally, a positive role model on this board!

Got 2.5 14" Coilovers and some 2.0x2" bump stops for the front of my truck. Went with 350 over 450 springs.

I think I'm good, but thank you. I want to keep the stock appearance as much as possible with this build.
