Rear tail light wiring harness. Trying to delete all of the flexloom and use sheathing as the protective cover.

I'm guessing '96 OBD II, given the number of ECM pins.

My 95 truck and 96 bronco have 96 wiring and 96 OBDII computers. Posted this so if I lost my phone, or wanted my own easy to find reference material. I think I’m going to get these printed off and laminated so I have a hard copy reference.

Door sill protectors made out of JY sills I’ve cut out, cut down, will finish in Linex and attach via some #10 SS buttonheads.

Nice! I've never even noticed that spot. I bought replacement plastic trim in billet aluminum. Hopefully they hold up.

Got the door sill protectors aback from Linex and installed. It’s just nice to not feel like you’re crunching a painted surface when going in and out. Highly recommend this method!

Needed a clean/convenient bracket to hold headsets. Made the bracket out of 1/4” aluminum mainly to keep it from looking spindly and really light in weight. Powdercoated to match of course and held down with a factory Ford light fitted with some LED’s. No obstruction with the view out back (without headsets of course) and is about 14-16” away from your head.

New window sweep install fix—
New window sweeps are a nice update/upgrade/fix but the NOS ones don’t exist and they probably wouldn’t fit due to the 25 yo old door panel slots. So I got tired of them not fitting and just made a couple sporty oblong washers out of some scrap- stainless would be perfect and pop riveted them in place. Fits brand new tight and won’t come loose again!

So I got some actual seat time with the 3-point harnesses. So if I could get just a bit of refinement they would be seriously great! Like you are not about to go full cage or you have a Jeep and not full seats to the cage - these really hold you in the seat. If I could get PRP to look at them I think they would be interested in the design.

Finally installed all the inside can tie downs ---- no floating stuff inside the cab! These are from the 2000-ish Chevy Blazers (S-10 size); they are HD pieces that lhave a hole for a 3/8” bolt which is way big/strong enough for the application. The “washers” turned out pretty well and should give a nice secure backing no matter how aggressive the driving gets. All got powdercoated satin black lol!

Those are factory F150 jump seats btw.

So the first trip was to KOH 2020 and it went fairly well all in all! I pulled her off the trailer and the power steering pump immediately crapped out but I just kinda went with it. Met up with Andy J and some of his buddies -great guys and some killer broncos- and we immediately took off on about a 20 mile pavement drive and about 10-15 more miles in the dirt. Quite frankly the entire time I was terrified! Terrified that I just met these guys in person and I’m driving a truck I have zero time driving— ZERO! She never broke down, died, stalled or was even hard to start— super happy with everything! I was afraid the rearend was too wide for the bedsides but all turned out good and all the fiberglass proved out well! It’s a good feeling I don’t have to re-engineer all the things I’ve toiled over and sweated the details on all this time.
