Got it. When you hd said it blends with the Line-X bed pretty well I was thinking it must be another product.

They can spray that stuff over most anything!

My custom 3 point harnesses- no miles on them but the idea is keep you planted in the seat and still be able to run errands lol. It's gonna be an awesome idea or a terrible one - only time/miles will tell!

All the factory mounting points were retained along with how the factory belts secure to the body were used.

I bought them local at a place that sells every light known to man --they are like wayyyyy overpriced lol but I still sprung for them. I think they were like $16 each with the light and the little metal surround- mine are black but they are normally chrome. The little surround is pretty clever and mounts pretty easy. I guess hit me up and I can get you a set.

If you ever decide to change your type of injection, add an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, are pulling an engine and mangle a fuel line or maybe burn one up-- one easy and fairly cheap fix is to remove the lines around the fuel pump forward to the engine; cut them at the flex line/hardline area; slide on a tube nut then tube sleeve; then single 37* flare the 5/16" line (on my 95 F150 BOTH lines are this size) then finally add a male/male -5AN/-6AN fitting. After that you just connect to the engine in the configuration you need. Some would ask why not go all the way -6AN. Well it depends whether you need that much fuel volume, and it allows you to retain a factory stainless steel line, fuel filter and fuel pump connection at the tank.

I like the look of the classic center mounted air cleaner, but I read somewhere that the factory air boxes are hard to beat for sand/silt filtration, only thing better is an UMP setup. I think it was someone on here who told me that lol

Now that I've got a throttle body vs SEFI on the engine there's a fairly large hole to contend with. Here's my fix that was fast, easy and required no welding wire lol!

Some pics of the radius arm crossmember. This isn't a crawler so hopefully it doesn't get ripped the hell off! Basically 1 3/4" x .250 wall tubing was the material.

Few pics of my quick release fire extinguisher mount- gotta love that ozone friendly Halon 1211. Didn't want the gear clamp mechanism showing. The extra hole is for a padlock- if you're in downtown Phoenix or Ensenada I don't need it disappearing :-)

Now that I’m finalky back in Phoenix and released from the dastardly clutches of the Midwest lol...Marilyn is finally getting an alignment! The local Firestone fellas probably haven’t seen a 4.5” over swingset steering truck.... maybe ever! :-)

Well just an update- I’ve taken this truck to 2 places - first place the front end was too wide for the machine; the second place is just honestly being chumps and not willing to do the work. Reason #1892 to not go wider!

If I cat get the engine tuned and the trans controller to work right. It’s a super killer truck but it’s really (and I mean really) testing my resolve.
