I saw this truck at SDHQ on Saturday. Beautiful truck! Did you get the alignment handled?

Thanks man- it’s a pretty cool truck but it’s just been a tough build toward the end. Just for the record though SDHQ is not who did the alignment.

Thanks - I notice you’re running the usshift— I’m hoping I can get it dialed like I want. Can you adjust it to downshift with less pedal input? I don’t like pushing the OD button on my 96 Bronco for a boost of speed.

Haven’t posted on my F150 for sometime—I’ve been busy converting my 1995 over to a 96 OBDII - which has been loads of work!

I personally dig ‘em, mostly because I HATE keys. I’m working on a completely keyless entry / ignition system for my truck that uses no keys/remotes at all.

And I LOVE what you’re doing with Marilyn!

It’s down to $5,995, I just looked. Pretty damn good for the money! But if you’re going to go through all the effort and expense of upgrading the engine, don’t skimp on the motor. I made that mistake myself by buying another 302 size motor after my original 302 blew, and ever since I’ve had my eyes on the Ford Racing Boss 351-based 427/460 crate engines. The 460 is the cheapest of the two I like (just under $10k) and the aluminum 427 is the pricey one at $14k or so. I’ll pull the trigger one day on one of these guys.

Well when a nicely used Raptor have dropped to $26k a $14k engine seems like nonsense but that’s just me. The 408 is still a 351 based engine-$7500 delivered is about my max max MAX otherwise the cost seems like nonsense. There’s going to come a point where a 2013 F150 4x4 with a 5.0 in a Platinum trim with some miles is cheaper to put beams and supercharger on than a 1995 with a all the doodads. At that point a 1995 won be cool because well a 2013 starts with 360hp if I recall right and the 2013 frame is nicer and the interior is already killer ... and ... and ... and :-)

There is a point where I’ve taken this truck where it’s the point of very diminishing returns.... man I’m a serious buzzkill!!

Not at all! You're being very practical in a situation that's unemotional. It's not quite the same for me.. I've had my truck since it was brand new, and I have huge history with it, so it and are tied together in a very personal way. There's no getting rid of it, or choosing between it and another truck. It's all about treating this truck as well as I can, regardless of whatever else I have. And I barely drive her.. :-(

Yeah but there’s fewer and fewer clean OBS F-series worth mentioning outside of this forum.... buuuttt a newer F150 with beams would be badass haha
