Total Performance built short block 9.5 to 1 , Roller Cam, PI Heads. I asked Greg to build it as if it was for himself.
Maybe a pic of a long block soon. Someone rotate that pic!
Thanks, yes loved that truck. I have been trying to track it down for the past 5 years. It had some history which was the coolest thing about it. Sold it to a friend which was suppose to give me first right on buying back ( which didn't happen ). Found the next owner, he blew the tranny up and wanted way too much for it and ruined it by adding a bench seat (?) put a tail gate on it and painted red, I was bummed. This truck was super fast, nasty cam. Cant tell you how many tickets I would get in this thing. It would fry the big 33" tires.... first, second and chirp 3rd every time. Complete interior 2" roll cage, custom dash Stewart Warner gauge cluster, complete aircraft wiring and switches, frame was plated front to back, all oil and fuel lines were high pressure braided lines, just on & on. It was a total sleeper. looked like a mom & pop pickup at first glance, until you looked closer. I wish I had more pictures of it, these are the only ones I have.
You'll really like the Bfgs if you don't already have a set. I have a new set on my F-250, only complaint was they sound a little funny at first, really gummy. Kind of sound like little suction cups, thought something was wrong with my truck the first time I had them on. truck is really looking good, makes me want to find another one.( old school that is)
That's a 460, Block was line honed and decked, crank had to be turned .010, the rods were resized. New hyperpubic pistons, roller cam and lifters. The heads are kind of cool I bought them "Straight Outa Compton" old "Police Interceptor" heads and Rick at Total Performance brought them back to better than new condition. Motor should be about 9.5 to 1 and should do fine on pump gas. Lots of pump gas
