Is there any type of carb stamp on them? I'm interested, but they may cause a problem during a smog check.

I'll look. They were factory on lightnings. Don't think they would need one

On lightnings, yes. On broncos, no.

I have a set Nick. They don't have a carb number because they're stock parts from ford. However if you have an egr valve that runs to the #1 cylinder you can use them unless you drill a hole and weld in a bung.

Did a little work on the truck today. Been waiting on a few parts and waiting for a bit of help with the tranny. The pump just will not go in this tranny. Every time I get it in the input shaft will not slide in smoothly. Im sure i am missing something simple but I cannot figure out what it is.

First I started the fitment on the pillar pod. I sanded down the areas underneath to make it sit flat and flush. I have not finished installing it yet and I am undecided if i will leave it black or try to find a paint close to match.

Got my Summit white boxed plug wire protectors... these are DEI for sure.

I got the drivers side done and test fit my wires for length to add the terminal ends. I think it is turning out great. Let me know if someone would wire them differently.

Tomorrow i will finish the passenger side and wire in the gauges. Hopefully I can find someone to help me with the tranny and get it to go in by Monday.

It looks awesome! I thought that the offroad y pipe was stainless though?

Oh I see, the darker color welds threw me off. I imagine it's mig welded stainless. I really like those spark plug heat boots and headers. Very nice choice. Looks clean.

On those made for you holders-- make sure you replace rgw nuts with nylocs or put some blue loctite otherwise they come apart hastily

I think it looks good, nice pile of parts..but after just suffering a miss from a burnt wire, is it just the camera angle that makes it look like the #6 wire looks close to the #8 header tube just past the heat shield? If so I'd probably run that wire outside the engine lift bracket and shorten it up a bit

Got the passenger side exhaust installed. I also got my cap and rotor as Summit sent the wrong one. That allowed me to terminate my wire ends and get all that buttoned up. A lot of people had trouble with the back bolt. I got it in from underneath and it was a cinch. Easiest of the bunch just about. I did have trouble with the bolt that the air tube bolts to the 5th one back.

i do need to get a new heat blanket or refurbish this one

Heres checking the gap on the old plugs. I really cannot believe this thing acted like it had good plugs in it. I guess that is a testament to the quality of the stock coil.

Tranny is back in. Went in pretty easy as my brother in law was passing through town and helped get it in and bolted up today. THANK GOODNESS.

I still have to hook all the other little stuff up and get the new filter installed. Ill wrap it up tomorrow for sure.

Exhaust is in, driveshaft in, oil cooler removed.

Was hoping to have it running this afternoon but of course the tranny filter I got was for a 4x4. Once the wife is in Ill go switch out the filter and pick up up my non lightning lower rad hose and wrap it up tonight. Hopefully with everything changed no hiccups in the running and the tranny acts flawless..

Got her all wrapped up last night. So far so good.

I still have to do a coolant flush and change the thermostat today so that will be good to get her nice and warm and then do that stuff.

Gates hose went right on for the lower radiator. Got rid of the oil cooler that comes with most Broncos and all Early Lightnings. No possible failures there.

Heres a quick start up vid. Vid sucks but it is all I had at 830 at night. LOL

It definetly needs the Thrush mufflers welded on. This is stock mufflers behind the Bassani Catless Mid and Bassani headers
