Re: 93 F1 Flareside
I haven't posted much for updates lately because there really hasn't been many. The truck has been mostly used for trips to Home Depot but heading down to prerun the 1000 next week so 'ol black got a little love.
Finished up the rear storage bin and got some new shoes on her. Turns out those factory ford wheels were only 6 inches wide, kinds surprised the tire shop even mounted the 35" tires on them. The upgrade to the KMC really widened the truck up and filled everything out.

Re: 93 F1 Flareside
Looks awesome! Any rubbing going on with the new wheels?
I'm working on a 94 flareside myself and am trying to keep the bed intact for now.

Re: 93 F1 Flareside
Thanks!
Not sure on the rubbing, but I hope not as i'm not going to get a chance to shake it down before I head to baja. The front bumper is trimmed pretty heavily already. My turning radius is significantly better with the new wheel/tire combo and the tire no longer rubs on the radius arm at lock.

Re: 93 F1 Flareside
Ha! So true. I was really happy with my BFG's but team orders for the GT's. I've got a lot of Baja miles on both without too much trouble, hopefully the steering and stock parts will hold up to the higher weight, should be okay.
