EXACTLY! I just got done with my 1st (and last!) 1/2 marathon & kept giving the girl grief that we were running a distance that was meant to be driven!!!!

My knees KILLED after our runs & I couldn't walk right for about 3-4 days after the 1/2 marathon. Never again...

Oh yeah and the new fenders do look better

Good job on the half, that is awesome. It will get a lot easier, although you will just up your mileage.

What is a little pain anyway?

Thanks on the fenders!

This is a "to each their own" thing for sure. I'll take pain from things I enjoy, but running is NOT one of them, so why hurt myself for no fun. I always joke with Karen that I get more beat up running than in sparring. I'll take a few blows to the head before I'll run for hours & have my knees ache for days again. She and many others love the running nonsense though. I'm just not one of them.

The truck got some updates to include the lights, plate, painting the bed, mounting the tool box, shortening the exhaust, acid cleaning the tank, solenoid, and fuel lines. I will be able to drive it down the road for the first time in months.

I went to Jeff's Broncorama in South Lyon Mi on Saturday morning; his place is only about ten minutes from me. The swap meet had some good deals amd I managed to pickup 4 12" rs9000 and 3 12" hydro shocks for $80, whick should work just fine for my old and slow stuff. The pictures are a little late because I went up North immediately after the show. Sunday I caught 5 Northern pike all over 26" and a six pound bass, a four pounder, two three pound bass, and a two pound bass. It was my best day of fishing ever. My buddy pulled a 2 lb. bass and a 30" Northern, good stuff.

The f100 got a dual resevoir MC from a 68 Galaxie and some new tire rod ends, but no pics.

Here are some pics from the show:
