Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
Holding the line on a sleeper build is a daunting task... so easy to slip to the dark side!
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
I'll attest to that!
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
Yeah sleeper status went out the door, that's for sure. Next up is metal work, roof rack, sliders, bumpers, etc.
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
you work for fiberwerx?
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
Yes I do
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
Threw a little low profile skid plate on, and a random front yard flex shot.
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
It's great to have a vehicle that I can do this in after work on a Tuesday.

Heck yeah!
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
The snowball continues. I recently saw a set of fine thread FOA's and was really impressed. I just could not justify dropping big money on a set of "race" shocks, and for what I use the truck for, these are perfect.
2.5x12 for the front
2.5x10 for the rear
The front shocks should bump my front wheel travel from about 12" to around 16"

Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
Very nice!
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
I like these and I think this or a ranger would be a good fit for where I live but man the 90-94 explorer is even more rare to find out here than a 92-97 ranger.
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
The first gen Explorer are getting more and more rare, I never see them driving around. In all honesty, I think they are pretty ugly in stock form!
Re: OG 94 Explorer Build

Re: OG 94 Explorer Build
I can think of sooo many things that look worse. We can start the list with any exploder built after '95 - haha
OG 94 Explorer Build
Torn down the front end last night & put 12 solo hours into it today. Shocks mounts are done, just need to build a cross member, align it, remount my air filter so I can close the hood & play with my preload/ride height
OG 94 Explorer Build
Sitting much better now
