Doesn't your explorer have an LED bar on the front bumper? In my book that's done.

Same comment - different list of projects.

In other words - looking good & I'm jealous you can keep it simple & enjoy.

Thanks guys, the goal really is to stay simple with this one. Finally figured out a clunk in the front end. One of the radius arm heims was loose. It was hand tight, but had a little slop when on the truck & bolted down. Thinking about a Baja 500 pre run, or the MORE race for my next trip.

Been working on converting every bulb in this thing to an LED. So far I've put LED's in the doors, dome light, map lights, converted the rear dome to a 194 LED, glove box, under the hood, turn signals, and corner lights. I'm going to do 8 ft of this strip style lighting under each side next.

That LED rope will light your cab like a supermarket. I have two three foot sections in my Dodge and it's ridiculous.

I am running it outside the cab pointing down towards the ground, rock light style.

What do you do with that stuff, just cut to length? How to you hook up a section after you chop it? Is it strip panel like normal ribbon cable?

You use these little chingaderas to cut and splice. They need 12VDC, so they are more or less plug & play for a car, or buy a 120VAC adapter and use them under your cabinets, bar, etc.

Sure would make trail navigation at night easier as well as tying the thing on the trailer. I have fallen victim of shadows cast just below the front bumper quite a few times. Looks like a verticle drop and turns out its a 6" whoop at a hill top.

This spot is 2 miles from my house. I've been going up on this hill forever, but it's been a while since I've had a vehicle that could make it to the top. A lot of people call it hang glider hill. Pretty cool to watch guys take off from the top.

Threw a link to using aftermarket guages above for your explorer if you ever go that far. Just though of you exploder fans when I saw it.
