You went from family truckster to full race-- looks cool!
You can see how big & crazy the sticker is here

The idea with this rear set up is to make it more family friendly. Wives dont like nose wheelies!. If I had pulled the front seats, I could have got 2-3 more inches of travel. The way it is now, you can climb in the back seat and hardly even notice what's behind you. I've given up maybe 10% of my cargo area and the bed cage will end up also being a shelf to store more crap.

Kind of have to look close to see what I'm up to here. I'm building a perimeter frame work out of .75 tubing to mount all the sheet metal up to. I also tied the cage into the body, it's crazy how solid the rear of the truck feels now.
Image

Also picked up some new bedsides from McNeil Racing. The old ones were embarrassing to say the least. My tires were smacking before getting to full bump, just seems so pointless to have bedsides that cant clear the most basic axle upgrade. McNeil is going to work with me to build a true 6" over bedside that works with the stock wheel base, I'm stoked.

Spent most of the weekend doing this!

Needed to check off the final thing on my original list of things I said I wouldn't do!

Picked up this 22" single row 5 watt light bar from 1107 Offroad. He has some really good quality light bars. These aren't Amazon specials and they have a lifetime warranty. Check him out! I'm going to recess it into the grill, should be nice and clean and low pro.

Also cut an access panel under my rear seat for the fuel pump and changed it out. It's been screaming at me for 2 years now. I was hesitant to get a non Motorcraft pump, but the Delphi I picked up is dead silent. Very happy I did this before I got stranded.

Definitely! I had access to the top of my tank after about 2 minutes with the grinder wheel. In the future it be even faster. The pump I pulled still worked, and I can now carry as a spare.

Nice. Post some photos of your access hole. Did you make a cover for it?

I am going to use the piece that I cut out as the patch panel. Had to over cut a few areas to keep from cutting too deep.

Ended up throwing the LED bar into the bumper. Just wasn't digging it in the grill.

Been working on a buddies truck, so not much has happened lately. I dropped the ride height a bit, and I'm about to dial in some 7/8 heims for the steering, also picked up some seats. Just doing small stuff to prep for desert season. Bronco is back there and jealous!

Cant believe how long I waited to get some decent seats in this thing. What a difference! Mounted these up last night on the factory sliders.

Nice, i miss my buckets. I think the comfort is worth the pain in the ass of having to get over the bolsters if you dont drive it daily.
