Helping a buddy rework/prep his Baja bug. He bought it with all the decent major component. The fab is not great but will be plenty strong. Eventually we are going to recage it but for the sale of having fun for a few seasons we are working with what he has.
Specs-
2.5" front arms, wider beam, rack, 2.0 fox
3x3 arms, sway away torsions, double 2.0 fox
2180 w/ dual webers, built 002
Some other bells & whistles. It was a 2 seater, we are redoing the rear cage, shock mounts, different fuel tank and mounting a bench for kids(it's tight). Trying to keep $$ down now cause we know we are gonna rework the entire chassis after this season or the next.
Day he got it.....
Old rear tube out new ones going in...
Got some more work done last night. Shocks are mocked up and cycled. Just need to finish them up and weld them in.
