Is there any reason you did not got with an h&s or spartan tuner.? Or do you like the look of the mechanical guages?

Re: No plugs n' 8 Lugs
As far a tuner I will ultimately go with EFI live (big upside for a 2006 and later Dodge) and have a base tune built then tailor it with my laptop to suit my use. I have AutoEngenuity and it works great as a diagnostic . Since I had a powerstroke in the past I now have Ford and Dodge licenses.
I went with the ISS Pro gauges.. I dig the look and they are very accurate. I checked the tranny pan with an IR gun and it within 1 degree F of the gauge reading. Pyro is nice, boost is spot on (Checked with manometer )and fuel pressure round out the set up. These use transducers-clean wiring and easy piggyback light circuits. I installed an ISS rheostat( under tranny gauge) dial on the pillar( pillar with pod is an OEM Dodge part for SRT truck) and it allows tuning of illumination circuit. They match OEM gauges and are way easy for my eyeballs to see. I can also program each gauge to trip a signal light for a parameter set point to alert to a given reading.
I guess I'm kind of an analog guy. I like and understand electronics just old habits die hard.... Yeah I still have a turntable and rock vinyl now and then!!!

Re: No plugs n' 8 Lugs
Any concern with the shell rubbing while doing GoFast-ish type stuff?

Re: No plugs n' 8 Lugs
Thanks Ollie, I will talk to him if I bump up the HP and need to stud the head and raise my boost up.
Took some metal to scrap yard today and this girl with a full tank and two people tipped the scales at 7740... She's a big white girl!
The Shell... Taking a little from Tom's F250 I figure I need to fab strips of aluminum for the shell and under bed rail to make a sheetmetal/ fiberglass sandwich with aluminum flatbread.
Also looking at some of Pat Helen's bed stiffeners to keep the flex down. If I get my bypasses tuned in correctly and drive with some self restraint I hope to not slam the bed and shell into the cab.

So I may have skipped over it earlier in the post but do you still have the bronco and this one replaced your truck?

Re: No plugs n' 8 Lugs
The Bronco is still in the stable and it won't leave. I sold the Z71 1500 and this is the replacement for it.
As a side note it will get some go fast party favors ending up as a Tharlie or Curen, however I am primarily focused on a solidly reliable driver/tow vehicle that will see some on/off road excursions at speed as I intend to rack some industrial mileage up on this thing.
My wife and I are planning a trip in late July/August 2014 or 2015 to Alaska/Yukon & NW territory by going via Ferry boat from Seattle to Anchorage and driving across up through Dawson to Fort McPherson- cross the Arctic circle and possibly hit the shores of the Beaufort Sea. Back down through Alberta to hit Calgary and work back through Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. Then within the year end make the drive to the tip of Baja before or after the 1000.
Kind of our own version of long way around.........

Re: No plugs n' 8 Lugs
I rode my BMW up through Alberta and BC crossed into Stewart Alaska and took the ferry back from Prince Rupert in '08 Epic 7500 mile trip and She and I fell in love the NW. I am sure it will be a little different in the truck, however it will open up some adventures we could not do on the bike.

Re: No plugs n' 8 Lugs
Image upload isn't working in Tapatalk, so I can't get pictures up yet. Front end is buttoned up and it's night and day compared to stock. Once I swap out my leafs and install the rear shocks I will take it for a shake down.
