After playing housekeeper, cook, Mom and Dad, house maid etc for 4 weeks while the wife was away, this is what she bought me for being a good husband and father :D :D:

A brand spanking new 2013 Mitsubishi Triton (L200 to other markets) GXL + Pak Dual cab turbo diesel! :D It has the 4G56 DI-D HP 2.5L common rail turbo diesel engine, 5 speed manual, all the mod cons and it goes great! :D :D We picked it up yesterday for cash and drove it home :D What can I say? YEEEEHAAAAH! :D :D

Thats awesome Rod! Those are great trucks, we had a few of them when i was overseas that we used for service vehicles. Pretty peppy too!

Yeah, cant imagine why the US market isnt catered for with these, its Euro 5 compliant, so it would meet CA smog laws. :D

In CA they have forced all sellers to retrofit new desiels with a urea tank. Do they make u guys have that for euro5? It's some kind of injected additive to make the desiels run cleaner I guess.

No urea here. :mrgreen: Euro 5 is a VERY high standard for emmisions, especially in a diesel and the Triton meets that standard.

The US forces diesels away due to politics. They do not want efficient vehicles here.

Nice ride! I drove one for several weeks over here in kuwait and it was a blast. We have since moved to 4 door 4cly hilux's because they are automatics. Every day I complain trying to get the Mitsubishi's back lol

Oh no, please don't read me wrong... that is an AWESOME gift and wow... it's absolutely terrific... and my guess is, it's really very nice to have a fully functional, new and WARRANTEED truck.
