Look what my wife bought me!
After playing housekeeper, cook, Mom and Dad, house maid etc for 4 weeks while the wife was away, this is what she bought me for being a good husband and father :
A brand spanking new 2013 Mitsubishi Triton (L200 to other markets) GXL + Pak Dual cab turbo diesel! It has the 4G56 DI-D HP 2.5L common rail turbo diesel engine, 5 speed manual, all the mod cons and it goes great! We picked it up yesterday for cash and drove it home What can I say? YEEEEHAAAAH! - guard

Yeah, cant imagine why the US market isnt catered for with these, its Euro 5 compliant, so it would meet CA smog laws.tcm glx wrote:That's awesome Rod........I wish we could get diesel pickup trucks like that here!!

Re: Look what my wife bought me!
In CA they have forced all sellers to retrofit new desiels with a urea tank. Do they make u guys have that for euro5? It's some kind of injected additive to make the desiels run cleaner I guess.

Re: Look what my wife bought me!
No urea here. Euro 5 is a VERY high standard for emmisions, especially in a diesel and the Triton meets that standard.Rmc wrote:In CA they have forced all sellers to retrofit new desiels with a urea tank. The US forces diesels away due to politics. They do not want efficient vehicles here.

Nice ride! I drove one for several weeks over here in kuwait and it was a blast. We have since moved to 4 door 4cly hilux's because they are automatics. Every day I complain trying to get the Mitsubishi's back lol
