No probs, Tom, I didnt take it the wrong way As for the F100, next week will be my first paypacket with no bills, so hopefully I can get some stuff to continue progress on it. Tomorrow, I go in for the biopsy, ultrasounds and more blood tests to nail down this damn health problem once and for all.BajaF250 wrote:Oh no, please don't read me wrong... that is an AWESOME gift and wow... it's absolutely terrific... and my guess is, it's really very nice to have a fully functional, new and WARRANTEED truck.AussieRod wrote:You aint the only one, Tom, trust me ........ I would have rather had the cash to finish that first, but one doesnt look a gift horse in the mouthBajaF250 wrote:Nice Rod... err, but, I've gotta say, I'm more interested in the BabyBaja F100... I wanna see that thing ROLL!

Re: Look what my wife bought me!
Well, seeing as the weather is preventing any serious progress on the F100, and I've just had surgery to remove a bad gall bladder (hopefully the major cause of all my health issues), I've decided to make this a bit of a build thread until I can devote my focus back on the F'y.
I'll start with a few extra pics of the inside: Engine bay:

Cheers
I picked up a set of genuine rubber floor mats off Ebay cheap, they've been fitted, along with a DashCam DVR unit. After Mick got screwed by an insurance company fraud, I decided to protect myself from the stupidity and greed of others. Now, in a collision, I have video evidence to present in my defence. Later, when money is easier to find, I will assemble a much better unit to monitor 360 deg while driving and parked (on request) and just before I was struck down by the gall bladder infection, I also scored a snorkle kit from Ebay for only $139 delivered (a steal!). ARB sells the Safari kit for $565 + fitting! (Another $200+). So while I'm off work recovering, if I can fit it in, I'll drill some holes and have a go at fitting it up. Once I'm back at work, I have a flatbed tray under construction to be finished, then a second battery and wiring to set up. I will record my progress here and try to keep up even small updates to the F truck.Cheers

Re: Look what my wife bought me!
Fitted an Ebay snorkel kit on the weekend. ARB wanted $580 for a Safari kit AND $260 to fit it. The Ebay kit cost me $139 + $22 for postage. Fitting was free
It came out better than I expected: I'm also building a flatbed tray for it in my spare time at work, a prelude to doing one for the F Truck, too.
Its the blue shit hiding in the background there ( more better pics later on.)

Thanks, Tom I'm just doing a few things to make the truck more user friendly while I source a few more bits to get started back on the F truck, which will be very soon.BajaF250 wrote:That's sweet Rod...
