If you cut there, what are you planning on doing with your radius arms?

I'd just throw extended beams and coil overs at it and spool the rear and what you can't crawl over just fly over. Your truck has the potential to scare you.

Doing some extended before arms, and that would push them away from the frame and should give me some more clearance i would think as rmc pointed out to me.

Your beams are extended after the radius arm mount holes correct, and they where made by travisfab?

Not sure about where they were extended but not made by Travisfab. If I remember right they were made by BTF. Note - this is not the "Blue Torch Fab" that sells fab parts on the net, but rather a local fab outfit run by 2 brothers.

I was checkn out your build thread and seen where you cut yours, if you dont mind passing along the info what was wrong with the angle of the cut? My thinking is it has something to do with keeping the axle plane correct?

I cut it straight up and down and it should have been cut at an angle

Anbody running a 4r70w trans with a 400-450 hp windsor? I'm not planning on keeping the 5.0, but if the overdrive won't handle that kinda of power without dropping a pile of money into it and a c6 is on the list, ill probably just build a 466 or a 520 for it, any reason other than weight on not running a big block? 500 hp is easy and would be cheaper going that route

Big block with aluminum heads/intake/water pump should be within 100lbs of an iron head small block if I remember correctly...

The reason we don't here is smog/gas prices (CA). Plenty of people do though when they don't have to worry about smog. FSB is full of big block swaps.

I'm going to to just keep the 5.0 in it for now and do the suspension, cage and the inside before i decide on the engine, id really like to build a 520 stroker for it for and easy 600 hp and a whole lot of fun
