Swapped out my cracked, junky pep boys battery terminals for some much nicer units. Pretty excited to have terminals where you can actually get a wrench on the pinch bolt to loosen them.

Some new shoes with a bit more backspacing to pull the front track width back in.

Finally got the bedsides/new bed mounted up, pretty psyched with how it turned out. Need to get the shell back on there to make sure it's still going to work with the bedsides, and eventually need to through-bolt it to the bedrail to keep it from moving around while in the dirt.

Got the shell back on...kind of undecided. I like the functionality of it, and also like the old man style points, but I kinda like the look of the truck more without it. Hmmmmmmm

The boys over at Richer were able to whip me up a set of bedside supports to finish off the fiberglass install. I had them shot with some LineX to keep em from rusting.

Swapping on the new 8125 coilovers. Pretty excited about these...1" shorter eye to eye measurement at full compression, so I can drop the ride height a little bit and keep the same amount of bump travel (Once I shorten the bump pads on the radius arms...more about that later).
Yes, I know the coil springs are opposite in direction. For some strange reason Hypercoil winds their heavier rate springs one way, and their lighter weight springs the opposite direction. Go figure.

Got it all back together last night, but it needs way more preload than I thought (only put .5" on it to start). I forgot that losing 2" of spring length would also affect ride height quite a bit. Gonna crank the preload another inch or so tonight and see how that goes with the ride height. Or just slap a Kibbe sticker on it and call it good...lol.

Cranked an inch of preload on there, much happier with the ride height.

I had to replace my drivers side door handle cable, so figured while I was in there, might as well toss some fat mat and MLV in the door to cut down on road noise (Did both doors). Works pretty well!

A couple updates. Can't wait to see it with the rear width filled out to more closely match the front.
And just for giggles, I finally bought a set of the wheels I should have bought about 5 sets of wheels ago.

Headed up to Richer to drop off all the coated parts and bolted the tin work back up. I love the look with it coated black. Kinda makes me wanna shoot the lower firewall with LineX now.
