That's where I was thinking of putting the upper shock mount on mine. Let me know what you end up with so I can copy what works haha.

Will do. Right now those are 3.0x10" stroke smooth bodies. I was digging around on the net and figured out that the 3.0 bypasses that Fox sells for the Raptor actually have a .5" shorter compressed length than what I have, but a 1" longer extended measurement, so I may try to find a deal on a set of those and swap em on down the road to get a bit more droop travel.

I actually need the upgraded 3.0 ones that Fox does. Thanks for asking for me though!

So with spring under a 2 link isnt necessary or do you have something else in mind?

As it's been explained to me, spring under takes care of the issues with axle wrap, and a 2 link is not needed.

Do you have an eye to eye measurement on the stock takeoff raptor rear shocks? I'm curious to see how it compares to the 3.0 fox bypasses that they sell in the aftermarket.

Yup, those are the same measurements on the aftermarket 3.0 bypass. Interesting...

Do the upper and lower shock eyes have bushings in them? Any idea what the mounting width is? 1.5"?

Look into the King external threaded cap and welded end, very short.

Have they said why not mount the shocks on the outside of the frame? Seems like it would up the stability if not just a little.

Would be way more expensive to go outside the frame rails.

Awesome, thanks for the info! Might have to use those for mockup til I can find a deal on a set of the 3.0 bypasses.
