Good call....it looks like the current piece of all thread is just sleeved in that tube and welded around. I might be able to just grind off that weld, pull out the old all thread and weld in some longer all thread and call it a day. I think I'll break out the grinder tonight and see what I can do.

Ditched my old stock front bumper that was slightly bent/twisted, and had 4 holes in it from the Hellas. Replaced it with this one:

I'm thinking some 6" amber LED's would fit into those holes nicely...

Hahahaha, yeah, I've been remiss in posting updates. I'll try to get some pics up by the end of this weekend...lots of little things and maybe a big thing or two...

Super stoked on this update...new Baja RS seats, and a factory center console/3rd seat installed. My plan is to get the middle seat re-upholstered to match the Mastercrafts.

While I was at it, I pulled the carpet, power washed it, and threw down some fat mat on the floor. I'll be sure to post how much of a difference that makes in terms of heat and sound.

Good eye Robert...yeah, it's actually rattle trap. Apparently it's supposed to stick a lil better and is a bit thicker. We'll see when I actually take the truck out for a spin. Been hanging with the family @ the pool all day so haven't been able to drive the thing after I put it all back together.

Almost forgot...installed my new "tangy temp" gauge today as well. Still need to actually wire it up though. Thanks for that one Tony.

I'm kinda thinking I need to redo that top right part of the gauge pillar. Initially I figured it would look better underneath the stock trim, but now I'm not so sure.

Flipped the light around...it was pretty easy. Just had to trim the backside of the plastic trim for clearance. Just gotta aim it and test the light output now.

Nice Taylor, I was pondering something similar...

LOL, when I asked about the FatMat vs RattleTrap, I was looking at the pic on my phone so I couldn't see the logo...on a computer screen it's easier to see

It shouldn't melt anything. I trimmed the plastic trim to clear the light by about 1/4" at the tightest spot (at each end of the bar). In the middle, the light bar is about an inch away from any plastic. Only one way to find out though...

The hidden mount is kind of cool for the low pro / sleeper status, but personally I think the mount on top of the bumper better. Either way the truck is still looking good

I'm really liking the looks of it too...will have to get it out in the dirt to see if it performs well. Worst case scenario if I decide I don't like it, I can just flip it back around.

Taylor can you take a closer pic, just to get a sense of scale of the light bar and the size of the factory opening...

did you have to space down the mounting legs at all?

Yeah, will do. The width of the lightbar is almost exactly the width of the opening...just a hair less. I spaced the mounting brackets downward with just 2 washers, and then had to fiddle with the angle of the light.

I'll shoot a couple closeup shots of the bar so you can get an idea of clearance, how it relates to the factory trim piece, etc...
