I haven't forgotten about you Robert...will snap those pics tomorrow.
In the meantime, here's a pic of all my stuff bolted into the bed. Shakedown run is set for Sunday the 21st. Can't wait!

Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Unfortunately I'm not goin to the night race...the wife has me signed up for something that evening, but the plan is to make a quick surgical strike out to Ocotillo the following morning to put the truck through its paces.

Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Skinned some stock fenders that another GFB'er sported me (in preparation for some stock width Autofab glass) ...thanks again Willie!
Here they are all trimmed up, ready for reinforcing and powdercoat.

All good... Glad they worked
Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Some pretty sweet updates in store for this thing. Hope to have it all knocked out in the next few weeks before the 9/7 race...
Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Welp, I had planned to just do the stock width Autofab fenders on the truck to give the tires a little more room to move, but something came up (more on that later) that wouldn't allow me to run stock width glass. So instead I ended up grabbing a set of the 3" flare Ashley style fenders from Autofab. The fit and finish on these things really is top notch.
Here's a quick pictorial of the install process. I went with some skinned inner fenders that were reinforced with box tubing, and then i had them powdercoated white. I really like how this kept the engine compartment looking stock and allowed me to bolt a lot of the stuff right back up where it was with the stock fenders on there. I've still got a little bit of massaging to do to get them looking and fitting really nice, and plan to get them painted once I swap out the steel hood for fiberglass as well. I need to trim the stock bumper to follow the wheel well lines as well.
@ The start of the project:
Teardown almost complete:
Inner fender installed:
Drivers side fender installed:
Here's where it sat after 2 days working on it:
Then tonight I spent another couple hours massaging, hooking stuff back up, and doing the final assembly. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. It still needs a little massaging, gotta raise the hood stops up in the front, and slide the hood forward just a little bit too. I'd also like to get the lower trim piece under the grille a bit straighter, but will worry about that during final assembly after paint.

Agreed RE sleeper status. It seems to be slowly slipping away. Funny how that always seems to happen...

Agghhhhh! Sleepers are over rated. Nice work on the fenders. Are bedsides next? Links?

Rad!!! I love it. I may have some parts you might be interested in if you've decided against sleeper status. A project I'm parting out. Let me know.
Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
I'm still drawing the line at cutting holes in the bed (as of now) since I do use this truck quite a bit to haul stuff around, so it's gotta maintain its useful bed. Glass bedsides have definitely entered my mind, but I'm also a bit reluctant to do those since I'd lose my stake pocket tie down points.
As of right now, the short list for this truck is:
Coilovers/air bumps (sometime next year after I've had a chance to use it a bit with the current front end)
Add an extra tranny cooler and valve body
Hook up the tranny temp and water temp gauges
Slap a rear bumper on there (already have one, just need to get it sand blasted and painted)
Fiberglass hood
Reupholster the center seat and rear bench to match the Mastercrafts
Swap the rear gas tank out for one of those 45 gallon tanks that I've seen guys swap in there before
Supercharger?
RE the bedsides, I'll probably wait until I go Ford 9" and do a wider 9" with glass. That's a big "if" though. I really want to get just 1-2 more mods done off that short list and then drive it a bunch, see how I like it, see how often I have time to take it out, and then decide whether diving into a 9" swap is really warranted.
RMC, I'd be interested to hear what parts ya got...shoot me a PM!
