Lol, nahhhh, this was just for grins. I like the Alcoa look alikes best anyhow. Besides, with the laundry list I gave Richer, my wheel/tire fund is empty!

Most of Taylor's wishes come true, so I'm gonna say Camburg rear end coming soon!

Do those hubs +/- the track width at all? You doing the steering too?
Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Well, there might be a burg rearend at some point, but I don't plan to go floater. 35 spline semi float should be more than enough for my purposes (grocery store parking lot speed bumps!).
So yeah...about those hubs...the original plan was to go with the 2.0 hubs since they don't alter the track width, but somehow the knuckles showed up with the 2.25" hubs, which add 1.5" per side. A little bummed since I really liked the width of the truck previously, but Cho did bump it out and it still clears with the current 3" autofab fenders. I can't complain too much since those 2.25" hubs are way beefcake compared to the 2.0 units. And if I really don't like the proportions, I can always look in to swapping out the fenders for the 5" versions.
Yessir...doing steering at the same time. Originally had planned to wait, but it kinda just made sense to do both at the same time.

Beautiful. I have had zero issues with my semi-float dirttech but I will say I do wish I would have at least done a 14b hybrid.

Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
I agree with CS. If you are going to build a rear axle you might as well do a hybrid 14. I don't know if the hubs used on the Burg housing are 14b compatible but if they are it's a really nice housing. But, heres what I would do if i was going to build a rear.cs_drums wrote:Beautiful. RuffStuff Housing 685
RuffStuff 14B 5x5.5 hubs 400
SDHQ 14 bolt spindles 182
Yukon 35 spline spool 225
JY Nodual 3rd
Wilwood hubs & brakes
You can build a beefy floater 9 for prob 2k ish. Oh and if you use 14 drive flanges you can pull one axle for street peg legging. Then simply raise one side, slide the axle back in once you've reached the dirt.
Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Can I run a parking brake with 14B hubs?

Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
MotoScott posted this link over on Bray's thread. They are 1.25" thick rotor compatible and look they can be made to work with the factory parking brake system. I wish I had known about these before I invested in my Mico Lever Lock (linelock). I'll be picking up a pair of these.
