I figured that was the case as I know he's got TONS of stuff that never makes the web.BajaF250 wrote:Hey Steve,
John has sooooo many parts he's made over the years he has yet to catalog them all and get them up on the website. His site is charged by the size and he's actually gotten another site to parallel it to hopefully lower the cost. He's got a lot of stuff!
The new site has more than the last site already as far as number of listed products, and I looked there before I posted as it seems like it's constantly being updated, but I didn't see the things so I figured I'd ask.

Yup, you are spot on Steve! John actually spends a great deal of time on his website trying to get it populated... it's a tough chore! I know cause he's very frustrated trying to get it all done and realizing that he still has so much to do.ChaseTruck754 wrote:I figured that was the case as I know he's got TONS of stuff that never makes the web.BajaF250 wrote:Hey Steve,

Re: "Oldbaja"
Funny - when I was searching the 'fab site for the body/cage mounts I saw those & sent them to a buddy who I sold my old 4 pin, drop center hood to.
I do like the hood snuggers. Maybe have to do a set of those on the crew

Re: "Oldbaja"
Ok , I got the cab on the frame and I will drive it to Autofab in the morning.
I hope we make it there intact. It pulls just a little better with the weight of the cab on the frame. Looks funky going down the road....people seem to give me some space.

Re: "Oldbaja"
Is that 2" tube? When looking at my old supercab it looked like a 2" tube would easily tuck behind the inner skin in the cab. I wanted to put the tubes in and re-tack in the stock inner skin for the sleeper look on the cage.

Steve , we looked at that real hard. I thought 2" would work, but I'm not the fab man and we could not justify the extra time and money (labor) so 1 3/4" it is. I'm OK with it and in the end it will work perfect for what I want.

Re: "Oldbaja"
Understandable. 1.75" will be fine. Just couldn't tell from the pics & wanted to ask for my own reference/knowledge on how a 2" tube would look up there.Quailhunter wrote:Steve , we looked at that real hard. Good deal! Good to know the 2" fits as well as I thought it would. I was looking with the inner skin in place still so semi guessing, but all looked like it would work really well.
Can't wait to see more on this.
