got a project going and has some autofab parts. wyoming truck. 1970 ford crewcab 4wd. 2009 leafs and pulled the leaf out of front and going with link suspension deaver coils and a few upgrades. 5speed overdrive. 400ford cobrajet air gap, roller cam and many other goodies. gonna be just a cool toy hauler and daily driver.

Assuming it is a short bed if it's 4wd?

Re-size them. If you don't have software on your computer to do it, you can use picnik.com for free. I use it all the time.

If you use flickr it automatically uploads in 4 diff sizes. All you have to do is select the size you want and link it.

Uploading photos directly to the board is nice because they don't rely on an outside source or account to host. This means the photos will be around even after flickr accounts are deleted or abandoned.

hey guys jsut checkin back in. been busy lately trying to get things mocked up and upgrades. just got my recessed hood and fenders for my truck bought from John, autofab. stuck workin in North dakota and not at home. makin money but killin my truck time. gonna eventually a chase truck type situation down the road but time is my enemy. yes is gonna be a short bed truck also. just gonna be some cool old iron running around and keepin old iron alive one ford at a time. 8-)

hood fenders should be here around monday. dropped center really looks cool. got crossflow radiator and other things ready to go. just need to get all the pieces in one place to mock up and assemble. workin a lot in north dakota and makin some $$$$$ but fab time is short. catch you guys later.

did a photobucket account and can see some of my stuff. kind of behind on photos but you will get the idea. my 1970crewcab 4wd with aluminum bed is in their. gonna be a cool toy hauler and daily driver and mountain truck. cobrajet 400 ford with some cool parts. zf 42 5speed tranny and 205 behind zf. mods had to be made to work. some photos and scary simple to do. I have a rear disc brakes going on this truck hopefully next weekend. using dana 60 front calipers and bracket on rear 60 and build a plate to like the chevy caliper application. i wanted it to be all ford for this truck. plus its dual piston caliper rear and hydroboost brakes on this truck and power steering now. its coming together but work is killing my toy time, good problem to have i hear these days. oil and gas industry for about 20 yrs and keepin the big iron alive and ford also. autofab glass on front lowered hood and raised fenders. did a final paint but no photos of that yet. its kubota orange and the final paint looks like its suppose to. check out photos and hope you like the old iron. more photos coming.

I like those 400 ci "Clevland" engines. :D I call them a "C" because thats all they are, a taller deck Clevo. With a good pair of 2V alloy heads, an appropriate cam and valvetrain, a good intake, carb and headers, they are an easy 350 HP and 500 Ft/lb of torque. AND, they weigh a good 100 - 150lbs lighter than a big block of either type. I've run one in drag racing here in Aus, and stock engine with a Holley Street Dominator intake, 750 holley and headers, it would run 13.0 on street radials consistently all day in any weather in a full size ute (Aussie version of 70's Ranchero).

well if you go into my photobucket account you can see some of the stuff i did to this engine. had some non believers but this will change. i do no its not the best engine for high rpms but if just driving and towing its a great engine. you can turn rpms but not for extended lenght of time. the rod ratio is a issue with stock rods. mine are stock but every upgrade that can be done has been done to help things out. 351 cleveland air gap is a great intake. really did some nice work to this to match up well. intake flowing around 270cfm through heads after working turns in the intake. they say don't touch but the flow bench said otherwise. has to even out the flow at all ports. I roughed it in and then let the pro's take over. CFM creek flow management in montana. Lloyd knows his stuff, old school dude with a modern twist. used to work with joe mondello for many yrs. said he never done this paticular setup and had some fun. air gaps are kinda new to the market and still learning things. should have a strong midrange and really good lowend and thats what i want!

will be home this weekend and get the door glass in and all new seals. get some updated photos. its starting to come together and look good. hopepully have running by end of month. waiting new 1350 yoke and CV yoke for transfer case. found a better grill than this one and will install. keeping old iron alive one ford at a time. After reading baja250 build its gonna be 3.0 shocks on my truck and learn from their. baja250 ford is awesome truck and gonna incorporate a few things. different application but lessons to be learned from his truck.
