Will you need a Fan Shroud? What's in the plan for that?

I will be putting a shroud on it. That was taken into consideration when the mounts were made. There should be more than enough room to build something. No doubt it will be a PITA, but I wouldn't expect anything else!

I'll have more pics once it's home, which should be soon. All of the wiring is done, except for terminating wires at the dash and tidying things up. I'm running stock ignition, wiper, and headlight switches. Thats basically all that's left.

In the meantime, I've been doing house projects like crazy. I'm balls deep in a bathroom remodel right now. My wife will be so happy with her new bathroom, she'll hardly notice how much time I'll be spending in the garage!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I've been working through the long weekend, so not much to report. I'm planning on taking a couple of days off this week and really getting after it. I have a lot of loose ends to tie up, but it's close!

I got to spend a few hours this week on the truck. I had to run the return line for the fuel system, secured trams cooler and fuel lines, driveshaft is in and a few other things underneath. Then I played with the interior, trying to do something about running antennae and intercom cables. I want to bolt the seats and belts in, so I put down some trunk carpet under the seats and back of the cab. I was tired of the space ship look anyways.

I wanted to get some more work done today after work, but I really wanted to watch football, so I did something I could do inside.

I always had plans for this area. I had welded some flat bar to the tubes a long time ago. I had a 12v power point wired up, I just needed to actually build the panel. Done and done.

The panel holds both mics, 12v source, a flashlight/work light, and a tactical style pouch with multiple pockets and an iPod holder.

To see the truck in person, it will be at the NexGen Offroad open house Saturday, February 6. I really want to have it running by then as well.

I will pick up the correct hardware to bolt the new center panel in tomorrow, then get the seats and belts bolted in.

Also, an update on the bilge fan. The thing moves a tremendous amount of air, BUT, it's pretty darn loud. It remains to be seen how well it works, but blasting music through the headsets will be a must if it's on.

The interior is in. It was important to get in since the most of the electrical system and the rear brake lines all run through the center console.
