I love it but that seems steep unless I'm missing something.
I would love to put one of those bodies on a TTB chassis.

If you're talking ratios - he's on 35's. 4.10's should be pretty dang good.SteveG wrote:I love it but that seems steep unless I'm missing something.

As for the TTB - be patient and you may get to see one. I'm thinking the supercab body is going to end up on a F-250 TTB truck. A standard cab long bed one - which would shorten the wheel base up by 6" or so!

I almost bout an early 70's truck on a TTB chassis with a 460 years ago. I think a TTB Hay Hauler would be fun with major cool points. And of course the pre-smog thing would be rad.ChaseTruck754 wrote:As for the TTB - be patient and you may get to see one. I'm thinking the supercab body is going to end up on a F-250 TTB truck. Re: my ol' girl, 76' F250
Best of all worlds.
I'd LOVE to build something like Tom's truck - but with more room (supercab) and a vintage body. One of these days I guess, but I'm thinking more & more about it. Could be an "easy" way to get the supercab running... Buy a running F-250 & do a cab swap. Then upgrade from there. The truck would stay on leafs in the front for a bit most likely. Not the greatest setup, but at least I'd have a running truck to build off of!
