that could be it to though. in fact that must have something to do with it. i think mainly i need shocks that i can dial the valving in on, that is the main thing. i need to just get some video..

for some reason i decided i wanted to try taking my truck into the mud. called up the guy who purchased my bronco and found a spot nearby, and thus proceeded to get my truck stuck.... again and again and again and again....... then i broke my front driveshaft, losing 4x4. oh by the way everytime i got stuck the kid who bought my bronco had to pull me out

... shame....

oh then the cops came. guess we crossed over into someone else property who didn't appreciate us tearing it up (which i totally understand and wouldn't have done had i known) got away with a warning for trespassing. NEVER GOING MUDDING AGAIN!! oh and its not the sandy mud that i used to hit up down by the SD/mexico border, this shit sticks to everything.

Hahahah, now you know why some of us bought broncos! The only problem: if you get stuck, most of the time there is no one who can get you out. Ask me how I know.

the first picture is my old bronco pulling me out!!... its just ironic i guess. i like my F250 better though.

The truck looks so much better without those white fenders. You should at least rattle can them flat black.

I know , some guys told me rattle can doesn't take well to fiberglass though?

The fiberglass will suck up the paint. If you prime them you should be fine. I would use the cheap stuff, it will be easy to get off when you paint them for real. Rustoleum has some compatability problems with other paints and their black is not true fading a little after a week; I would avoid that brand and color for a body panel. Otherwise, their shit is top notch and I have sprayed whole cars with Rustoleum, but not black or something I would topcoat later.

You can roll and sand them.

I suggest that you drop them off at the local discount Pay N' Spray. It should be true to form, around a hundred for those fenders. Black is the easiest color to match. I took in a cap and they sprayed it for a bill, and I took in all the bodywork off a sportster and it was a hundred too. The cap they did not even take off the decals (they were small, but still), just wiped and painted it, but otherwise good two stage paint. The sporty had some junk on the tank, but it polished out.

Or have a volunteer use a video camera while you run the trucks through the bumps. I have had several versions of the Rancho (the old 7000 series and then the 9000 series) adjustable shocks, and have not been all that impressed with their adjustability..

Taking leaves out of a pack will certainly soften the springs up, but he's right, it will throw off the whole pack and the rest will live a short and unhappy life. New packs do need a while to get worked in, and they will soften when they are.

I rattle canned my fenders on the Bronco and it turned out quite well. I actually prepped them and used primer though.

I sprayed fenders with flat black spray paint (no primer) and they looked good. Anything out of a gun would last longer but I was able to paint them with a couple cans of $5 paint and be done with it.

HA!! thanks guys, really appreciate the good words.

other than the rear fiberglass and some small fab work, i think i am about done with everything i am going to do on this one, maybe a mild engine rebuild, and totally repaint the truck, long ways away though, we'll see... i am going to get started pretty soon on that green F150 prerunner you may have caught in my other thread, or in the background of these pics. does anyone know of a good go-fast site devoted to 97-03 f150's? can't seem to find one.

on a side note, what would you guys value this truck at? i have zero intention of selling it but trying to appraise some stuff around my house for a business endeavour i am embarking on and it would help in some paperwork i need to do. i was thinking $8500?
