1977 Ramcharger

Post by Wardy »

Been a while since I've been on here. Thought I would post a pic of my Ramcharger I bought at the SCORE PRIMM race last month. This was built by Walker Evans and used as a chase/prerunner, then sold to Frank Vessels (Rest in peace) and Frank sold it to the guy I bought it from. When Frank had it, it had Walkers class 8 suspension on it....his OLD suspension. When I say old I mean coils up front and leafs in the rear. Kevin (the guy I bought it from) took it to Mark Newhan and Mark updated the a-arms up front, took out the coils, added coilovers and a bypass, then moved to the back, took out the leafs and added a 3 link, sway bar and coilover/bypass to each side. He then did about $15k worth of work to the motor (408 stroker) and $5k worth of new wiring. When I got it, the first thing I did was put some brand new gasoline in it and just drive it....thats right, I havent done shit....but who cares, I love it just the way it is. I will need to do some body work, it has a little cancer around the upper windshield, but no biggie. I plan on enjoying this thing for a while and going on some nice preruns. I'll post more pic's later, this is all I have at the momnet. Everyone, meet Chuck Norris.........because he will round house kick you in the FACE.......... :D
sorry, inside joke....
