It's not mine... It belongs to a former Bronco owner.

Traitor!

That is nice though. Is that a Walker Evans built dodge?

Yes - originally a Walker-built leaf spring Ramcharger prerunner that was owned by Vessels after Walker. Modified later by Mark Newhan with links and coilovers in the rear. A really, really sweet truck - I was "following" it on RDC for over a year and very happy that Warpy bought it! I'm sure he can chime in with the specs. 3 seater inside with nice, older aluminum work, etc. I think the engine is a 360.

Mark Newhan's name popped in my head when I was looking at it. Looked like his work. Interior looked nice, Mastercraft 3gs, racepack dash, ect.

very cool rig!

i almost bought it from kash vessels about 10 years ago but he wouldn't take my offer and i bought my bronco instead. the guy rory got i from had mark newhan "rebuild' it and make some things a little more modern. it's go a big, nasty mopar engine and a 727 trans. the truck is really bad ass and i hate rory!

Wow, I guess i'm TOTALLY out of the loop eh? Looks like Philo stopped off at the Fire Station while I was out on a call and took this pic's. Like TZ said, I'd been watching this thing for about 1 1/2-2 years on RDC just wishing I could have it. When I sold the TT Killer my original plan was to buy a class 6/7 truck. Well, the Ramcharger showed up on RDC again and his asking price was $29K. I figured for that price I could buy the RamCharger and a class 12 buggy I had been eyeing and only have to come up with a grand or so. I like this plan better, no stress about racing, got a GREAT deal on 2 vehicles, could possibly make money on both when the economy comes back around. I'm pretty sure I will be holding on to the Ramcharger for a while though. Don't worry Philo, I'll get you in it. TZ said he wants a ride too but he needs to get me in the Early Bronco race truck FIRST!! I'll post some interior pic's later. Glad you guys like it, I'm a huge old school guy (like TZ) and with the history this thing has with Walker and Scoop, I couldn't be happier.

I remember polishing all the forging marks off the spindals and steering arms on that when i was a teenager for my brother who did the caliper mounts and steering arm gussets for scoop about eight years ago. We are good friends with the guy prepping it at he time for vessels. If you have any questions I can get u in touch with him
