So, I keep good company most of the time and always have options with my life off-road choices. This is JR, and yes it will have beams very soon. I only do GoFast so it is getting posted here. It is big and will have big parts on it as well. It has a mix of people's fab work, all skilled and has good parts on it to start about 75% of what is needed. I am finalizing parts needed so it can be dropped off and updated to beams.

some of the guys on here are going to give me shit>>>> hah

yes 6.0 Moruzzi Special 4l80 combo
rear is 4 inch dirt-tech housing, 6 piston wilwoods 40 spline axles, 5.43 10 inch ring gear and TT hub pattern. It has 55 inch trailing arm 4 link 3.0 4.0 kings and 2.5 bump tons of up travel at ride Hight, 80 gal fuel cell dual tranny coolers and dual batteries
Front is currently blitz A-Arm kit with 2.5 2.5 and pro am hubs 6 piston wilwoods
New front end will be Beams 3.0 4.0 kings and I will probably use the pro am hubs and 6 piston wilwoods that are on it.
Has switch pros and Baja Design lights and I will move the evo 2 in it to the rear and put evo 3 in the front.

like the bronco it is usable and will be that way until everything is collected, I have been doing this to long and will not take it to project until shop is ready for me and I am ready for the shop with parts and cash.

Why get rid of the A Arms?
Because beams rule?

Also gives the opportunity to put some real steering on it.

Yes Brian correct, If I am trying to have the front keep up with the rear the steering upgrade had to happen. To delete the stock rack and make it work fantastic a swing set style a-arm system needs to be installed and a steering Box probably. If I have to already change the engine cage and shock mounts it goes back to service long term Beams vs A-Arms. If the shocks and engine cage was going to stay and fine I would spend the money on the steering with A-Arm. The current kit to get a bigger bypass on it I have to change the upper arm as well. The truck has a rack support made by T.E. Designs but it is still the cast stock rack and can fail, this is not ideal when the brake system is part of the steering system with the Chevy hydro boost system ......lmao

And Beams Rule........ I loved my mazzulla race kit on my raptor 17/18 inched of travel 2x worked well. This blitz kit is good, I just have the option to beam the truck due to Friends and parts so that is easier for me. I have been doing my research and the Chevy front ends are good but still have limits depending on uses and upgrades.

I had them cut the front frame off and ran .188 wall Box to match rear of truck vs plating frame.
I am adding Beam mounts and steering, engine cage new interior cage new seat mounts.
The interior cage work was needed to make it better before doing engine cage work and to make me fit better. I will be adding frame structure under the truck as well and more tubes in the cab, JR is a bit on the long side this will solve that. I will keep the cab open format but will add some stuff I feel is needed to keep me and the family safe.
I picked up all parts needed to beam the truck, shocks, new dash, new body, new steering system to run the beams, new motor mounts, new radiator, new tires ......I will see what Robert Moruzzi wants to do with the motor.

I am narrowing the truck just a little from the arm set up it had and have to trim firewall some.

I have a problem and just can't keep things the same. I will tell you this. I will 100% buy a truck done and change it vs build it from ground up when I cant do the Fab work myself.

all of my ground up builds 1-2 years burned me out, buying it with good bones and change it 2-4 months and I can keep adding if needed. If the fab guy says to you oh," it would be easier to just start with a cab" he is not wrong but your time line just went from 2 months to 2 years. Fab guy makes less money you spend more money and people get burned out fast. Just my personal experience.

On this truck, I installed a new steering rack and drove the truck started to figure out what was needed before dirt.......and it ended up turning into this. so Dumb.......but it is going to be RAD! .....hahah
