The Brodozer! (silver bullet? smoke & sand?)

Post by F1Brendan »

Hey everyone! It’s been a LONG time since i’ve been on these forums. I used to have a super clean 95 f-1 (beams, radius arms, 35s, procomp coils, 5100s, 4.56s, 35” bfgs on 15” methods, tony’s lighting, shell; super sweet little truck. Off’d it to a guy in socal a couple years back though 🥴 to buy....

A super clean 2008 ram 2500 6.7 cummins. The things been through quite a few iterations (slt to paint match, built my own lights, it’s been on a leveling puck and stock shocks, 22x14 chrome hostiles on stretched 305s, everything lol)

Recently though i’ve been reintroduced to my roots! I always wanted the perfect adventure/ wheeler/ go medium- fast, do everything rig, so i’m building it!

as it sits now, the truck is on 3” thuren softride coil springs, extended dom control arms, thuren adjustable track bar, thuren steering brace, basic 5100s, 17” cjcoffroad raceline avengers (17x9 +20), 37x12.50r17 D rated Nitto ridge grapplers, etc. little goodies include a 4” stainless mbrp exhaust, mild tunes, 21 led rock lights, mag hytec diff cover, basic stereo, 4th gen ram tailgate and center console, fresh leather, etc.

Next up are some carli add a packs, thuren shackles, big boy shocks, and a soft rate sway bar. also some BD lighting in the stock bumper’s on the list. Hope y’all enjoy some something different!

Heck yeah. Some color matched or even blacked out housings would look great on the truck. Looks so good on the 37s.

Finally back to post some half decent photos/ updates of this thing. Ended up getting quite a few exterior upgrades including fresh headlights with switchback signals, 4th gen, illuminated tow mirrors, Baja Designs lighting all around, 4th gen blackout emblems, etc. Photo dump:

The front end was fitted with a 30" onx6 arc with cjc tow hook mounts and amber squadron-R sports wired up the the oem fog light harness:

The rear end got an amber BD squadron sport mounted onto an SDHQ universal billet mount:

Ended up wiring all of the lighting, including the 19 rock lights and 75% dual mode switch into a custom wiring products.com switch panel!

Little interior dump as well, the truck has a fresh heated leather swap, 4th gen upper console, an oem srt-10 gauge pilar with an autometer factory match trans gauge, double din with a backup cam (if anyone has a recommendation for a bigger, 9" ish head unit, let me know!), factory autodialing mirror swap, and full led's.

Mag Hytec diff cover with some auxiliary reverse lights:

King/Thuren front stabilizer, Thuren track bar, 08.5 steering, synergy steering brace:

The set of tail lights that I retrofitted:

AND the ultimate update, stumbled across these bad boys for a steal! OG Robby Gordon street locks, should look great with some black rings and grade 8 hardware!

Finally got the Robby's finished up and thrown on and couldn't be more stoked, ended up selling my racelines for more than I have into these things, including mount and balance lol! Thanks to Marcel over at Cutless Designs for cutting out these rings, Superior Powder in Sac, and Taylor for the link to Allen's for some dirt cheap grade 8 bolts 😂
