Well.... that sounds like a great long term goal. 2014 may be too soon. I do love the trucks in what would be my class VOTRL ?

Re: "Oldbaja"
Todd...I get that question alot and yes the old pinstrips have grown on me.
So I think I have a plan that everyone will enjoy. All I'm willing to share now is the base color will be Ford "Race Red" it's a true rich red and you can't beat the name.

Excellent - glad to hear that. The new Raptors have a color called 'Race Red' - is that the one you're using?Quailhunter wrote:Todd...I get that question alot and yes the old pinstrips have grown on me.

Re: "Oldbaja"
There were only 4 entries this year, but mine would make a 5th... I'm pretty sure I don't care about the number of entries... Just would like to challenge Baja from Norte to Sur...BajaF250 wrote:It would VOT 4x4... longer than 108" wheelbase.Quailhunter wrote:Well.... that sounds like a great long term goal. 2014 may be too soon. Re: "Oldbaja"
Hey Rob,
I might suggest you need to change your icon photo... you need a pic of YOUR truck. It's so nice looking and a very nice piece. Time to switch. We can take a new pic if you don't like any of the ones you have... just let me know... I'll bring my Nikon next outing and we can snap away!

Great idea Tom! I'll take you up on that. What's the status on B250 and how did the intake mods work out?

Re: "Oldbaja"
OK, I finally got the frame powder coated. It's kind of a Steel Gray and in one of the pictures you see the cab in the background. I think I can get it on the frame the weekend of the forth. I'll get it on the frame and give it a bath , it's very dirty from sitting in the yard for months. I'll have to make sure all the nuts and bolts are snug so it's road ready for the trip over to Autofab.

Re: "Oldbaja"
Looking good.
Are those the cage mount/body mounts I see on the front? I didn't know John made those for the 70's trucks.
I guess like so many other things it could just be something that has never made it to being listed on the website.

Hey Steve,
John has sooooo many parts he's made over the years he has yet to catalog them all and get them up on the website. His site is charged by the size and he's actually gotten another site to parallel it to hopefully lower the cost. He's got a lot of stuff!
