1995 F-150 Build

Post by S00TLYFE »

Haven’t done much on the truck. It was sold but unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who aren’t as serious as they claim to be or just aren’t professional, I was hoping to buy Andreas bullnose with LS swap, but after the amount of BS I’ve dealt with, I’m keeping the truck. Traveling a lot right now for work but finally got around to assembling my spare setup. Big upgrade coming soon.

Totally. Sometimes forget a lot of people out there are full of shit and leave it at that. I don’t plan on selling the truck now, gonna finish a healthy long block for It and just enjoy it

Truck is looking great man, I love that wheel/tire combo. We gotta get that body trim off of there though!

Just put a magnetic hide a key up in the body panel from the bottom or inside the bumper somewhere.

so the popular consensus is to use two people, one with a heat gun and the other with fishing line, then use the fishing line to get between the adhesive and paint and move down the truck until it comes off, then buff the residue. i will likely pay a detail guy to do it though personally.

very simply - get your average heat gun, wave the gun over the trim; it wont take long before the trims adhesive is gooey; pull nice and easy and at the right time you literally have no issues pulling off the trim; then use the rubber eraser wheels on a drill; all the stuff comes right off-- use a rubbing compound, cleaner wax and its off.

Nothing much new, but there will be soon, new 2WD beams from Desolate going on the truck whenever Greg has time.

Truck went into Desolate today for the new 2wd beams they’ve fabricated. Really stoked to be the first one to have a pair. Thankfully Gary and Greg found this today.

Gary handled it for me. Wish I had half the welding ability he does.
