Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
did you test your access to rear tank. I am just saying pull it out before it final. make sure the opening going to work, with the odd shape of the pump and the lines it not just a up and down pull out right?

The pump has already been replaced via that hole, so I can only assume it works!

Swapped out my cracked, junky pep boys battery terminals for some much nicer units. Pretty excited to have terminals where you can actually get a wrench on the pinch bolt to loosen them.

Some new shoes with a bit more backspacing to pull the front track width back in.

I didnt think you could get more backspacing than you had on your old wheels. Must be just the look since its a flatter wheel.

I'm diggin it, nice work Taylor.
Re: White 1994 F-150 Sleeper Build
Nah, the old ones were just a zero offset, 17x8 with 4" backspacing. These new ones are 17x9 with 5.8" backspacing. Pulled things in about an inch per side.rdcjuanb wrote:I didnt think you could get more backspacing than you had on your old wheels. Must be just the look since its a flatter wheel.

Finally got the bedsides/new bed mounted up, pretty psyched with how it turned out. Need to get the shell back on there to make sure it's still going to work with the bedsides, and eventually need to through-bolt it to the bedrail to keep it from moving around while in the dirt.

Weird, in the middle pic above the wheel looks centered in the wheel opening on the bedsides, but in the top & bottom pic it looks towards the front.
The bedsides themselves look really clean. I LOVE the way the truck looks now. Interested to see how the shell looks with the bedsides on.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Will have to give it a look when I get home tonight. There's definitely more room behind the tire, but I think that makes sense since it will travel backwards as the spring compresses.
I'm really happy with how it looks too...it looked unfinished with glass up front and sheetmetal out back. Hope to get the shell on there in the next day or two!
