New And Better Bronco Speed Sensor Relocation Kit w/price
Ok we have been working on this for a while and it is the nicest design I have worked with. You dont have to send your flange out for a core and the sensor spacing is adjustable and it is mathmaticaly the same as stock. Im working out all of the math for common tire sizes and gear ratios. Final pricing will be available early next week. Let me know what you think and any queations you have. It comes with 100% of the parts you need and should very easy for most people to install. The kit will be $300 shipped anywhere usps flatrate box goes. Plus tax in cali. I was hoping to get it in a little cheaper, but it really is not bad considering it is the same price as leducs. And you dont have to send me a core flange to machine. I have both and and this design is more accurate.

Flying magnet or are those holes, I can't quite tell. Very cool though!
My car is a hybrid; it burns gas and rubber.

Magnets. They are REALLY strong little things. They are designed for crank triggers. Expensive little buggers too but they work great.

Well done, Mark. A friend of mine that builds high end EFI systems does something very similar for his speed sensors.

Re: New And Better Bronco Speed Sensor Relocation Kit
Why does it have to be adjusted for different gears and tires? Isnt that what the speedo adjustment is for? Is this the one that originally goes in the rear end?
I guess I dont understand how it works but I didnt think the gear guy did anything but toss in gears and diff and I went to 35s and just adjusted me speedo and its spot on.
Nice kit regardless.

With original location for ford trucks, the sensor is essentially past or after the gears but before the tires if you think of the drivetrain in a straight line, so only tire size changes affect your speedo reading.shockseals.com wrote:Why does it have to be adjusted for different gears and tires? When you move the tone ring (the little ring with the magnets) up to the output shaft, you put it before the gears, so now gears and tires will affect it.

Re: New And Better Bronco Speed Sensor Relocation Kit
if you have the 8.8 you dont need one of these. You have to have one to do a rear end swap though.

Nice kit, if this was available when I did mine I would have went this way. I just never liked the way the other kit was done.

Re: New And Better Bronco Speed Sensor Relocation Kit w/price
neat idea. and for $300, not bad...
For $300, it'd make me re-think installing the tone ring and sensor in the 9" like we did.

Will this only work with a bw1356 or will it work with a bw4407. Some how along the lines my bronco ended up with a 4407 from a f350.
