I'm not seeing a Power Package for a 5.8L much less one with EFI. Am I missing something?

I ran that set up for 10 years and now its feeding my 408

I forgot to ask, do you feel that the money spent was worth the results?

If anyone has a link to the package I'd be interested in it.

I'd say if you have plans on doing anything else to the motor then its a great place to start. A tune after those mods will be the biggest benefit.

I am building stroker number 2.

Stroker one was
Stock intake, stock MAF, 30lb/hr injectors, 255lph pump, AFR 165 Renegde 58cc heads, forged 408 stroker kit, comp cams for EFI, Roller rockers. 10:1 comp
The thing ripped. Made roughly 360ft-lbs to rear wheels if I recall

Motor stuck a ring at 5k miles and the shit rolled downhill from there as its been torn down and other than cam, rods, crank, I am building a complete new motor

I chose to go with 72cc AFR 185 heads this time, edlebrock intake 3881, BBK 56mm TB and a 9:1 comp ratio, .040 forged internals, comp mag pro rockers.

Should be together and hit dyno by christmas hopefully....hopefully it breaks 400ft-lbs to rear wheels after tuned and lasts more than 5k miles!

I also went with total seal rings for dirt track racing in hopes to be able to eat dirt if required...for $250 a set they better

I'm looking for a stock 5.8L EFI intake. Can be bare as I've also started a mild 408 build and want to keep the Blanc-Oh! up and running while doing things like gasket matching the intake and contemplating paying a visit to ExtrudeHone with it.

If you get that factory intake Extrude honed I'd love to know the cost. I'd really love to know a before Dyno tune and an after tune to see the numbers. Not sure if an extrude honed truck intakes can net the power of say a stock GT-40 but it would be a cool test.

Closest thing to a dyno that this engine will see is the "chassis dyno" at the smog check station.

I’m pulling my motor this week. Let me know what you’d like off of it. It’ll cost you a 30 box of beers! Lol

Doubt that I'm going there with this, but it is intriguing.

Andy, I'm looking for a 5.8L intake and might be interested in your block to start my rebuild. I also hit you on IG. What's your poison on the 30 pack?! haha

I suspect that it may be worth the trouble for those of us bound to conform to the latest rules made by the autocracy known as "CARB". Ironic acronym if you ask me! I know of only one aftermarket intake specifically for these systems, and it lacks an E.O. number making it not legal in KA.

I have pondered a 5.4L swap, but in the research that I did on that it didn't look like much gain for a whole lot of pain.

There is a guy back in Illinois that will port stock intakes anywhere from mild to wild, fox body guys swear by him and the flow numbers he posts are very impressive, for $300-500 it outflows the edelbrock unit all day long and can support pretty much any Windsor you build…plus all your original mounting and clearances remains the same unlike the edelbrock or another alternative
