Axle offset for 1996 bronco stock 8.8 rear?

So I'm working with Wilwood to replace all my rear disc conversion hardware. Mine got pretty tore up (backing plates destroyed) after the last Mexico trip and they've asked for the "axle offset" to know what to ship. Does 2.5" axle offset for a stock 1996 Bronco with a stock 8.8 rear end sound about right? I find it crazy that Wilwood doesn't actually have the specs for such a popular year. Thanks in advance!

Call Currie Mike, they should have the specs.

Ok, will do! I tried calling Solo but gave up since they didn't pick up the phone acter multiple calls in an hour. I know lots of guys put Wilwood conversions on the rear, so odd Wilwood doesn't have a ready-made kit for a '96 Bronco/F-150. I think Ford made enough to be kit worthy. Hah

Haven't seen too many Wilwood conversions on the 8.8 on a bronco. Most are on a ford 9".

Hard to believe that Wilwood does not know what the stock axle looks like.
My first disk setup was with a 10.25 semi floater and Wilwood. The main issue I had was the caliper/axle retaining plate was too thin and the flex allowed the axle to move in and out. Eventually the semi float collar on the axles started to move. Rather than to redesign the Willwood setup for the 10.25 I went to tubewarks FF and had Glen make plates and use the Varga calipers. Plate thickness was no longer an issue with the FF housing. Got the Varga calipers from Autozone - new. Ford source for the super mustang. Way cheaper than Willwood.
Problem solved.
Your experience probably will be different since driving fast in Baja is much more severe that most will ever see. And if you keep the C clip then plate thickness should not have been an issue. Maybe something else on the 8.8 is the root cause.

I checked my 1995 body builders book (from Ford) axle off set from center line is 1.6 inches to the passenger side. Passenger axle is 1.6 inches shorter than the driver side.

I have the driver side apart and, per the diagram, I measured 2.5" as well.
