Well! How many of us GFB'ers are running this cage ?
I'd like to get some thoughts and opinions on it . I'm really leaning towards picking this up , so I can get my build moving quicker.

I hear the fitment is spot on and there are plenty running around. I like that its bushing mounted.

It is a solid mount cage. They require solid body mounts. But as anything goes with Solo Motorsports they have them in stock and the quality is great and Bobby, Paul, and team are very professional and great to deal with. You could have your bronco caged in a weekend which is crazy compared to doing a custom set up. I highly recommend the Solo cage. It will save you several 1000s and a lot of frustration.

I'm thinking the same thing Brandon .!
Cage it in a weekend, and move to the next thing on the list.

Andy,

I have one. I'm really happy with how mine turned out. It really made my bronco feel solid and the noise level is not bad at all. They did a bunch of extra stuff on mine because I'm running dual spares and a bunch of other stuff mounted to the cage but all in all I couldn't be more happier with how it turned out.

Ditto. I've sat/seen in Chris' Bronco and the work is awesome. Like others have said, will save you a ton of time/money. Takes the guesswork out. Get er done Andy!!

Are there any install photos of how the cage goes through the floor pan ?
How is the noise level at freeway speed ?

Haha! That bender has been a work horse lately. It'll be doing some fine tuning to the Bronco as well , if I buy that Solo Cage.

I found these pics that show the pontoons (rocker rails). Don't know if they will help or not.
The article in FourWheeler does a good job of illustrating installation.
Wished they offered a similar cage for 78-79. Has anyone had any experiences with body seams cracking when using solid body mounts and cage tied to the A and B pillars?

Those are conversion hangers for 64" springs. Giant Motorsports is the only company I know of that supplies a 64 kit. I know Richer Racing has a front conversion front hanger for Giant 64" springs.

If the hangers pick up the stock bolt hole location it doesn't look like a problem. Looks like that threat shock hoop will be an issue though.

Yeah.. that threat mount, or the Cage mount, will undergo some massaging.

my only complaint with the cage is it not having a dash bar.
