For me personally I'd do one inside one on the bumper or one on a roof rack and one on the bumper. I like the idea of dual spares but am not really a fan of both on the bumper. If I had smaller tires and was down for the 3 seater, I'd do both inside the back one on each side of the 3rd seat. You could always go safari status and do one countersunk on the hood one on the bumper as well. Just depends on how you want the end result to look. If you going for the expedition type look a single tire, jerry cans and a jack on the rear bumper and any of the other locations may look better. Plus you don't really want spare fuel inside.

That's fine until you need to load a flat back in that space and it's got cactus sticking out of it!

I typically try not to do that. Lol when in Mexico the rear seat won't be in it.
