Fresh stroker for the Bronco just completed. This was built to my spec's. Just got final dyno and tune done. Will try to have it together for Vegas to Reno

Looking into a new motor for the ol’ Unicorn. What are some thoughts on these guys? If i purchase this long block, will I be able to use my factory ford upper intake, and computer? I’m very novice when it comes to motor work.Image

It would be awesome to be able to ship out the intake to these people to put on the engine you are buying.

You all figure about 35% parasitic loss with the E4OD on the FSB?

Looks Like a older Mustage motor. The pan,frt cover and balancer look wrong.
What are the cam specs ? I did not see any on the website. To much cam is no fun for tuning or low speed driving.

If the block is decked your intake may not fit

Looking into some motor options for the Bronco. Plan is to be able to drive to and from destinations. What would be a good platform.? Stock with a few upgrades is what leaning towards. I don’t need to worry about smog. But I do want to keep it MAF.
Let’s hear it !!

I would think so. It would take a custom tune. It would need some bigger injectors like 42Lbs.
The cam spec look very close for a Mass air flow setup
Ask your tuner what he thinks

Would the e303 cam work with a stock long block ? Or would I have to change heads etc.. ?
I’m leaning towards a Remanufactured engine with some bolt on goodies and a tune. Reason being.. I wanna go on long exploration trips with the family. So looking into Reliability.

E303 is a mustang cam. I'd call the many cam manufactures and see what they recommend given your weight, tire size, gears, tq converter etc.

An E303 cammed 351 did 233 rwhp in my F150. Long block was stock 1995, heads had that huge exhaust hump removed by me, 1.7 roller rockers, custom hardened pushrods, lightning upper/lower, 56# injectors, 75mm TB, Bassani Lightning headers (1 5/8”), Bassani Lightning off-road Y-pipe, exhaust merged into magnaflow 3” in and out muffler at about the back of the transfer case - ish, of course custom tune on a 96 OBD2 system- tune was in June in Phoenix on a sunny day. I’ve yet to drive this on a cool 50* day. I will say this, with a 30-35% parasitic loss as a typical thing you’re looking at a 335 to 360 horse engine. It’s not a street killer but it’s fun to drive and way way stronger than stock- very most important part is the tune- can stress that enough!

Core and Binary Editor. BE is used on any Ford software to change it
