Insane Cage

Post by sydude »

A friend sent me this link - not sure if it's for a full-size or for an EB. Either way, it looks wicked. I think it's done in Aluminum, too.

That's for an early Bronco, cage is steel, panels are aluminum.

A lot of work and looks fairly cool, but it's not quite as strong as a proper cage with lateral bracing.

That should be plenty strong for a creepy crawly trail rig.

Art project is right. The main hoop verticals should be, and aren't, and the back braces, don't. I wouldn't ride in any truck with that type of cage.

Beautiful art, but looks like cage would just lay down flat with a hard roof landing. Definitely only a two seater.
