If I'm understanding your description correctly, it sounds like what my Explorer used to do. My Bronco has never felt that way, though. It's always handled much better than the Explorer. Assuming your leaves are good, I think it's going to be a shock valving issue. The rear can be a little tricky because of the severe shock angle.

Wasting time on links... There are a handful of Baja veterans that say they don't help and aren't necessary. I greatly value their opinions but I'm not ditching mine. I think they change the feel of the truck for the better.

Here is a thread on 2-link kits: http://www.gofastbroncos.com/forum/view ... p?f=3&t=72

I've been told my bronco give a sea sickness feel at speed. I'm used to it, and have really never thought about trying to tune it away.

based on how many co-dogs I see wearing sea-sickness patches behind their ears at races.. my guess is you got it dialed in right where you want it...

I searched, but couldn't find a concise answer. What companies make bolt on rear shock mounts.

I know of:
Autofab
Southwest
?

Spirit makes one, too, but I don't think they've made one since PaulW's... been a while.

Does spirit have a website? Any clue Steve on how much they charge?

I'm definitely in need of one. Steve (chasetruck) did some awesome quick bracing of mine to get me around, but neither of us expect that to be permanent. Trying to shop around.

I'm leaning towards Southwest, because i really like the way Tony's is, and i've heard Autofab is the most pricey. Just trying to consider all options.

Keep in mind, while Autofab might be more expensive, you will only ever buy it ONCE! The quality is tops, if not the best out there.

Last time i talked to Spirit, the rear shock mount was $1800

Autufab's is in the $800 range, Mark's is about the same.

The good rear mounts are expensive. I don't think I've seen a good and cheap mount yet.

1800 is a little insane imo lol

I've never been shy to "pay to play" but that's a bit beyond reason i think. Unless it's made from solid titanium.

Not just your opinion! 1800 is off the chart. The Autofab mount is just plain F'ing expensive at $800. But, it's a relatively easy install and once it's in, you forget about it.

Maybe in 2-3 years I will, but you need one sooner than that I'm sure

As it is you're lucky I felt bad enough for you to fling some boogers at your rig last night  . I've been doing everything I can to turn down working on other people's stuff the last year or so seeing as I REALLY need to finish some of my own stuff. It is hard to say no when buddies need the help though.

I can't tell you how much i appreciate it. Especially after seeing a crack had formed on the passenger side. Just much better piece of mind for me if i need to go across town to pick up something that won't fit in my roommate's ZJ.

Bronco won't see any dirt until i have a real mount and that crack is fixed. Not even center medians ;)

No big deal - glad to help when I can.

That crack is a good example of why design & execution/fab qaulity come in to play so much on this stuff. That crack is exactly at the weld line in the HAZ on the frame.

Just 1 more thing to clean up I guess...

Probably a good thing i haven't shown you the engine bay yet...

You would not be happy with the work done there. Though i have posted pictures, it looks worse in person :(
